Re: Deer Shoulders ?
The biggest questions is will these large single blade heads fly true at crossbow speeds. This is one of those situation it would be important to have some extra helical on your vanes. Get that arrow spinning as quick as you can and I would think it would fly true for you. Definitely some interesti...

Re: NuFletch Ignitor Nock User Question
I had to make a minor scope adjustment when I added them but no biggie. My fieldpoints and slick tricks hit the same hole.

Re: Tested 5 Mechanical Broadheads
Can't speak to the swhackers but many others around here have used them and posted their results. I would imagine a search would return a fair amount of reading material. I don't think you can go wrong with any fixed blade head that bears the Slick Trick name. They are built solid and have always be...

Re: old exomag limb ?
You don't NEED the dbars. They are there to help quiet vibration and to protect the limbs in case of a dry fire. If you do not have an anti dry fire device on your crossbow, you might consider putting one on. Just one more level of protection.

Re: Ignitor (NuFletch) nocks
Anthony, I think you will find that you really don't handle the light sticks all that often. I practice without them and only put the light sticks in when I am getting my hunting arrows ready. After that they ride around in my quiver until an opportunity presents itself for me to pass one through a ...

Re: Ignitor (NuFletch) nocks
You absolutely can change the color light stick out later. The nock itself is clear.

Re: Ignitor (NuFletch) nocks
Thanks, I shoot BEE,s so that def helps. Im guessing you would just put the bag over the hole and push the insert down into the arrow with the bag beneath it until its seated and then trim the bag? This wont get loose over time? Thanks I normally put the insert inside the bag and then push it into ...

Re: Ignitor (NuFletch) nocks
I use the green light sticks which are rated for about 50 hours of use. When I want to practice during the season I just take the light sticks out of the nock and practice away. When it's time to go hunting, light sticks go back in and I'm ready to rock. This saves wear and tear on the lights and ma...

Re: Ignitor (NuFletch) nocks
I shoot a combination of BEE's and Deer Crossing Archery arrows. Both are .300 ID and I had to do the grocery bag thing on both of them. You can glue the aluminum insert in if you prefer but I have found the grocery sack trick to work just as well. I would rather do this than have to file down the i...

Re: Ignitor (NuFletch) nocks
I have Ignitors trailing all of my hunting arrows and I think they are awesome. Simple, dependable, and durable, just like my Excalibur crossbow. http://www.shop.nufletch.us/IGNITOR-Lighted-Nocks-for-300-ID-Crossbow-Bolts-IGNT-LN-300.htm http://i1142.photobucket.com/albums/n601/reddog230/20140505_20...
