The deer may be in on the acorns right now. I have planted No Pow by Whitetail and it is right along an oak ridge where tons of mast is going to be dropping.

Sold on Wasp Boss

Thanks to my friend putting three of his bolts into various trees in his backyard while sighting in his Exomax I can now say that these broad heads are tough. WOW!!! Not only did they hold together but they were sharp and only one had minimal damage. I am impressed. Talk about the ultimate "unw...

Urban myth, truth...I dunno. To me when I hear that story I think the same thing but when my friend showed me the scar on his hand fom a broad head in the same situation I could possibly believe it. All that out of the way, I just like the security aspect of the Montec. I WILL be using the Wasp Boss...

Wabi: Thanks for painfully leaving that long post. It really did help out. My question is: Why did you switch to Wasp JakHammers from the Montec's?

Heya Rich and pkynojoe: I never said I was terrified of the sport. I am just trying to find a way where I can be that much safer is all. Noone walks across the street without looking unless they want to die. I believe what I am doing is care and concern and I see nothing wrong with it. You are right...

Good luck in the whitetail season to everyone. I think it is going to be a great year for everyone since winters have been easy for the deer.

So has anyone had a chance to grab up a couple of these Firebols and put them into action? I am thinking, when I start to make my own arrows about the firebolts and the Meta Line from G5 for nocks and inserts.
Does anyone have any experience with this line of products?

Sorry all for the misquote there. It is the Easton Powerbolt that I am asking about. Has it officially replaced the Gold Tip yet?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the Meta Line (G5) nocks and inserts? Are they as good as they look?

Could you not sharpen it with one of those hand held sharpeners that just run along the blade? Don't know what it is called but it is plastic and has a handle with the grip looking like a 30-30 lever action. That way you wouldn't have to worry about trying to get the right angle on it. The sharpenin...

hmmm, I thought that it was a great idea. I guess not. Reason why i thought of it was because of a story a friend of mine told me. It is about a guy who arrowed a deer and while gutting it, cut himself on one of the broad head blades that had broken off within the cavity. Cut him right across the wr...

Wrap Your Brain Around This

A 4 blade G5 Montec. I know that G5 could pull it off easily and I believe that they would be a top seller as well. Any opinions.

This is a blue layered target similar looking to The Block. Has anyone used this yet?
