Best Rut Scents and Attractants...
So I'm curious as to what scents or attractancts you all use before and during the rut. I used buck bomb last year and saw one decent buck about 20mins afterward but not sure if it was related to the scent or blind luck.

Congrats! I like yotes. Smart critters. I'd still stick a pin in one though! ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Nanny Down! Woo Hoo!
Took my first Excal deer last night, and first deer ever actually! Had a big bodied forkhorn come in right around 6:50pm and he was skittish from the get go. He was way over my right shoulder so I had to turn almost 180 degrees. I finally got around and got the bow up and sights on but by then he wa...

Re: TactZone vs. Nikon Bolt XR
Huronsteel, you were right! I love this scope, small, light, and very bright. I swapped out the stock Tactzone for the Nikon Bolt this morning. Sighted it in with the crosshairs at 30yds. Ended up scoring a doe tonight with it right about at the last legal minute of hunting. No problem seeing what I...

Quality Issues Waiting to Happen...
So I was at Gander Mountain today (Novi, MI), and every single Excalibur they had (6) had the brace height about 1/4" INFRONT of the rail to riser joint. The string on the M380 they had was buried in the bumpers. I had the guy behind the counter hand me one and explained to him the issue and me...

Re: to loctite or not to loctite ?
I use clear silicone. Once dry the screws stay put, it's vibration dampening by nature, and it is easily removeable. I've never had a fastener loosen on me while using it and I shoot my bow a lot.

TactZone vs. Nikon Bolt XR
So looking for some advice and first hand exeprience. Here is my dilemma... Currently I have the TactZone scope on my M355. The optics leave a lot to be desired that is for sure. But I have to admit I really like the reticle, I find the illumination and the chevrons very accurate. This is the main r...
