Re: Small splinter on limb
Also, kinda wondering if my brace height could have added to the issue. Excal’s specs say that it should be 1 - 1.5”. If I set my string 3/16 of the bumpers my brace height is 1.75 - 1.875” I switched over to the Db Killer bumpers and the string is barely touching them and the brace height is still ...

Re: Small splinter on limb
Thanks! The rep from Excalibur actually told me to file or sand it lightly. I got to say I was impressed with the customer service. I’ve owned and used an Excal for about 15yrs and first time I’ve had to call customer service and they just said to submit a claim with a pic and they’d have a new set ...

Small splinter on limb
When I broke out my bow this year, as I grabbed the limb assembly to pull it from the case. I felt something poke the crap outta me, like getting a splinter. After further investigation, I found a small splinter in the limb. I did call Excalibur and they said to just break it off and sand where it m...

Re: New arrows from Excalibur
Agreed! For the roughly $180 a dozen you could buy crested spynal tapps or zombie slayersOhioXBowhunter wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 1:31 pmThanks for the input I would have thought they would have been the Zombie shafts with the suggested retail price.

Re: Crossbows
I’m one that likes the bells and whistles. The built in crank on the assassin was what pushed me over the edge on spending money on another bow. I started crossbow hunting after an injury from a car wreck, made a mess of my neck and caused me nerve damage that runs down my dominant arm. My first pur...

Re: 440
The problem is there is a lot of push back now from some states on the new technology in crossbows and its getting hard to argue with it. Some states are now looking at reducing their crossbow season, making a separate crossbow season or moving it back to rifle !! I hunt with a crossbow because I h...

Re: Tact 100
Received my bow today from Wyvern. Obviously haven’t had a chance to check out low light hunting but man, it is clear, uncluttered and I love the reticle. Small circles at closer ranges, down to dots at longer. Manual does claim limited lifetime warranty for bow and scope. Congrats on yer new outfi...

Re: Tact 100
I just bought and should have a new Assassin 420 by Monday. I had the option to stick with the Tact 100 or a Hawke Pro. After reading reviews I decided to stay with the Tact 100. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed...
