Re: scope fell apart

Send him 30 bucks and upgrade to a vari zone. Have the same bow as you and scope went out 2 weeks ago. Couldn't be happier with Danny or the varizone.

Re: Starting at 30yds?

I'm a big fan of the ground blind also but I've found if I put the feeders or acorn tree where I think my shot is gonna be at around 30-40 yds it's a lot easier. After studying my trail cams the last few yrs your alot more likely to get the big ones if you have a lot of other deer hanging out. I fin...

Re: Blinds ?

Huge Primos vision fan here. Large, easy to set up and very durable. Also love the magnetic windows. Had mine out all season long for the last 3 yrs and not one problem.

Starting at 30yds?

I've always started my vertical bow and crossbow scopes at 30 yds. Anyone else do this or am I the only one? Haven't got to see if the varizone will line up with the reticles out to 60. I usually spot and stalk so sneaking up on a deer under 30 yards its easier to just flop the crosshairs or first p...

Re: Arrow selection

I went with Easton 2219 aluminums and muzzy 4 blade 100 gr. had a ton of those bh's around and the Easton's cause there 4 bucks a piece and shoot great. Didn't have much luck with firebolts and 100 gr heads.

Re: slick trick fan

Got the same bow and had problems with the firebolts and 100gr heads matching my 40 and 50 yd reticles. Switched to aluminum Easton 2219 shafts and they hold dead on out to 50 and shot much tighter groups. They are 110 grains heavier over all with that shaft but I'm ok with it.

Re: Crossbow recoil crack scope?

Would have gone back to the dealer I bought it from but he's a hour and half away and only open 2 weekday evenings and sat morning. I won't be able to make it back there till at the earliest next weekend.

I'm afraid that may be above what I would consider a reasonably priced upgrade. Lol

Re: Crossbow recoil crack scope?

Talked to Danny said send it in ill send you a new one before season. You can't beat that! I asked him if he thought maybe the smf scope was not as good as the varizone. He said he would upgrade me for what I thought was a very reasonable amount. What's your thought upgrade or my smf scope quality j...
