Does anyone have the Nikon Aculon rangefinder?
The local Cabelas has them on sale at $139.99 for a while.

Re: Cutting a new slot in the Matrix scope mount
Im thinking you need to add some spacers to your stock..I had the same problem once..i found it wasn't that I needed to move the scope forward it was that I needed to move my shoulder and head back. try this..just to see.. find you a 1" piece of Styrofoam.. cut it to fit your butt plate..don't...

Re: Cutting a new slot in the Matrix scope mount
My problem is that I needed to move the scope further to the front cuz I couldn't get the eye relief at a comfortable, useable point on my Ibex crossbow even when the factory scope was mounted as far forward as the mounting rings would allow. I had to literaly move my head backwards (and get no chee...

Re: Mission Crossbow
I shot a Mission 320 at a local store before I bought my Ibex. It was quiet. Handled well. I was attracted to the ability to change strings without a press. Probably would have ended up with one except I had so many points and gift cards for my local Cabelas who sells Excalibur but not the Mission l...

Re: The straight goods on Bowtech and Excalibur
All the replies and viewpoints are interesting. I've worked for a few companies over the years that have been bought out. I'm trying to think of any long established company, with great products and a good customer base, that was bought out and things got actually better. (start up companies with ne...

Even when under leaves or grass, the illumination of the lighted knocks will sometimes cause a glowing or reflection that can be seen.

Re: O.T. Gander Mountain going anti hunting
That's is a big rumor and it has been going around for years. GM is not anti-hunting. (excepty maybe for the prices they charge... ) There was a reason they removed the mounts. Look here for more info. http://www.walleyecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=294034 (apparently the person who ...

Re: Coon hunters?
I live in a fairly populated area so I trap the coon found in my yard. I do have the S&W M&P 15-22 version which is a .22 cal version of an AR15. All the controls work exactly like my "real" AR15. I've had the 15-22 for more than two years. Works geat. Easy to mount accessories. Fl...

Re: Best tripod/bipod/other for Equinox/Matrix 380 crossbow
I use Cabelas shooting bipod/tripod. The third leg easily screws off. It fits well in my blind, is lightweight and stable.

Re: Thumbholes?
So when I bought my new bow 2 years ago I bought it strictly bc it DIDNT have a thumbhole. The new matrix line is fabulous love the look and compact design but cannot get behind the thumbhole. Its not traditional, it gets caught on sticks and personally I find it ugly. I know many of you love thumb...

Re: what happened
I'm curious. Maybe I'm missing something. Why did you wait 45 min before your started to track? To give the deer time to lay down and die. If you start tracking too soon and the deer is mortally wounded but still alive, you run the risk of it getting up and running off and you having to track it th...
