Re: 380 Adjustment
I just got done building a tripod/stool set up for my son to shoot off of and ran the 380 thru its paces at all yardages without a hitch .I will wait till after season to adjust anything I think. It finally got cold here .First frost last night so we will hunt hard till the freezer is full. My son h...

380 Adjustment
Anybody try a 1" brace height(front or back of string ?) on a 380 then space the bumpers to get your 2 string clearance? I already trimmed 1/3 off the ball of the mount .Shoots dead on at all ranges with scope set at 370fps w/375 gr arrow . Anybody see any gains with more Brace height? I would ...

Re: Do You Use Deer Decoy's?
We had a problem with Bucks beating the hell out of 3d targets left out over night /on days we did not shoot. One Buck stuck his antlers in a 3d target so bad he carried it 100yds. Bet the other Bucks left him alone after seeing that  I have killed a few with decoys but many more with out. If y...

Re: Stringing aid
I plan on making one .I use a C2 Crank which I used with a stringing aid (borrowed) to adjust my string. I already made a few things for my 380 and enjoy tinkering. I have stuff in the shop so cost is moot. $20 is not that bad but add shipping and it's money I can use for something else. I only buy ...

Re: Vacuum sealing testimonial
I got a Food Saver when they first came out. We grow a 1/2 acre garden, raise rabbits for meat, pigs, quail and put up as much Deer as we can (10+) a year. The Food Saver is too costly for all we do .Bags even on sale cost way too much. Saran wrap /freezer paper and canning is the way to go for volu...

Re: R.E.D.S Modification
Boo we shoot a lot .(daily unless it is raining)That being said how often will a Flemmish string need to be adjusted? I heard horror stories about them needing constant adjustment. If they last longer and are quieter I'm all in. Faster is great too . If cat whiskers don't cost but 5 fps. or so great...

Re: Spin drift?
Spin Drift is moot at these speeds and ranges I.M.O. As is Coriolis Effect  Try this. Back up to max range. Smallest dot you can see.(aim small miss small) Off a bench, Seated, Bipod, Rear bag, Level ,Square to target. No wind. Take as much Human as you can out of the shot. Same arrow for every...

Re: R.E.D.S Modification
I finished mine 5 min. ago. Ball measured .634 trimmed to.410. Over all length of pc. from where it contacts bow to top of ball is exact for both pieces .Brace height is set as per recommended(2 strings ) The only "noise" I hear is the string release. I prefer to stay with a endless string...
