Re: Bite the Bullett(Arrow???)
I have read about the burrs around the string holes .Thanks for reminding me. I took a quick look at mine and it looked ok ,Is it a burr or is the edge of the hole sharp? I might take a file and break the edge them polish it as a preventive measure. I already planed on a extra string and might chang...

Bite the Bullett(Arrow???)
Well went to the shop today and bit the bullet/Arrow and plunked down my hard earned cash for a C2 Crank cocker($145) all I can say is WOW what a fine little tool. Solid as a rock ,easy to use and slick as a button The hand cocker was kicking my butt. My son (9)and I share our 380 matrix and I was t...

Re: Got my matrix 355... not top quality
Yet another case for letting a shop set up your first anything. If it won't go together and you have to have somebody else tell you to try a tap or check hole alignment I would suggest letting somebody else "check" the rest of your handy work before shooting the bow. Assembly is not for ev...

Re: NAP FOC Broadheads
Saw the youtube very impressive. Guess I will just get some. They should be fine with the Diablo. Until I get some other arrows built. Might add some Lumenok and Quick fletch Quick spins . Have to pay for a C2 Crank cocker first. I like to shoot at least 3 times a day and my son shoots with me .He i...

NAP FOC Broadheads
Nap has a new broad head called a FOC (freakin outrageous cut) 170 gr mechanical 2 blade with a 3" cut. Anybody try these? they say they are designed for crossbows up to 400 fps. I might try them on some Diablos out of my 380 Matrix. I am also looking at their 3 blade spitfire crossbow. I shoot...

Re: Hold down tab
Up date . Used black shrink wrap 3/4 in. 3 layers snug to the scope mount 1 in. shy of the tip . I adjusted the tab to be 3/16 off the deck as per Dan Miller. After setting up I loaded a arrow and while pointing down and shaking bow no slippage .Its much safer to not cock the bow and just use a shar...

Re: 18" Zombie Slayers
If these are the numbers you are getting out of a 380 Matrix than these are exactly the numbers I was looking for. I like to hit as hard as possible from any given platform as long as I do not loose accuracy. This way what ever I choose to hunt is not a issue. While hunting here in Ga. hogs are alwa...

Re: 18" Zombie Slayers
I really am looking for balance not gross speed. I want to shoot a arrow that has proper FOC For good flight And max KE. A 350 gr arrow will give you 112 KE at 380 fps. I want to know if 112 is the best you can get from a 380 Matrix While retaining accuracy. You are looking to BEA for a lighter fron...

Re: 18" Zombie Slayers
To get 112 ft lbs KE from a 350gr arrow you need 380 fps According to Excalibur that takes a Flemmish (theirs) string the stock string is slightly slower would love real numbers along with what string and brace hight you use
