Re: New member with Matrix 330 question ?
Welcome aboard and congrats on a fine bow!! I would recommend getting a set of 6 or 12 arrows from one of the premium arrow builders and shooting spots not groups. I like your choice of arrow weight, I like between 400 and 440 grain for hunting. I get my splinters from South Shore Archery Jerry is a...

Re: Micro or Matrix?
The only thing I would add is to check to make sure what, if any, limitations the state has on crossbows. Some states set minimum/maximum poundages and arrow length minimums. One of the states I hunt has a minimum arrow length of 18" which would rule out the micro as it shoots a 16" quill...

Re: Ordering TT Trigger
Danny Miller used to have the market cornered with his price but as I understand it, TT makes all dealers sell for the same price now. And yes they do sell direct, which I am sure frustrates the hell out of their dealers. It wouldn't hurt to call Danny though. Just check on TT website and they want...

Re: 125 grain ramcats don't clear my stirrup
I would not worry about using a shim adding weight!! I have done this and there is more difference in a set of Zombies than the shim would make. I also have shot both 100 grain and 125 grain Strikers,,, I can change those with the 16.5" BEE's I am using and have less than 1" difference in ...

Re: Reduced Noise Results W/Micro 335
Keg I am going to implement the same process on my Mad Max,,,,I'll let you know how it works. I swear if I could kill the trigger noise of the claws slamming open,,,, it would compete with any vert bow quiet,,, as far as the bed liner I think it is to hard a material, the bed weatherstripping is a v...

Re: Looking for Tips on Off Hand Shooting
Good suggestions from all, one thing I would add is using the sling with an artilery hold, my Micro doesn't like much preasure on the sling.... Trigger control for me is being surprised when it disengages, this ensures that you are not anticipating the shot and unintentionally slapping the trigger, ...

Re: Micro or Matrix?
The speed thing can be deceiving also, I look at like I have 90 lbs KE with the micro, with the 380 I have 112 lbs KE, the my Nightmare shot 342 fps with a 350 grain arrow, my 380 shot 381 fps with a 352 grain arrow. Just apples to apples. I don't see much difference in cocking effort between the 2.

Re: Micro or Matrix?
If you think the factory trigger is nice,,,,,try a Trigger Tech,,,, no comparison!! Maybe that is why I have between 150 and 200 shot's on a Danny Miller flemish string, and it barely shows wear. I have the Micro and 2-380's all have Trigger Tech triggers in them and the highly polished claws are wo...

Re: Reduced Noise Results W/Micro 335
Forgot 2 other thing,,,,,Flemish string, an arrow around 400 grains,,,I have a couple Boo's come'n but till he get's caught up I have one of Danny Millers on now. I won't shoot any of my bows without one,,, I think they're that good, and they help save my limbs. I'll gladly give up 3 or 4 fps for pe...

Re: Reduced Noise Results W/Micro 335
Thanks guy's!!! when you have the approval from the folks here,,,,you know you got 'r' done,,,, 1) I waited a week with custom Hydro Dipped camo bow parts for my buddy to get and use his auto acoustic foam, I think this is a big improvement. But it takes a special gun kinda like a caulking gu...

Reduced Noise Results W/Micro 335
I have a new (2 months old 70D canon) I did a little video after finishing all the mod's I made to quiet the Micro all I could,,,, I am quite happy with the results and actually I am surprised how well the mods worked. This is only the 3rd video I have made so it is definetly not the greatest, but t...

Re: Matrix 380 & A Tale of Two Strings
I think that is a possibility but was doubting the consistent change. The only thing I ever checked mine with the factory string, I think, as I bought the lynx used and it came with a grey and black endless loop on it,, anyways. I got 379.8 av. w/112 ke shooting the 3 350 grain diablos, none over 35...
