Spitfire
Tried my 125 gr Spitfire crossbow broad heads that came highly recommended by to bow shops in my 380. First shot flew wide left and second wide right completely missing the target. Yep a blade deployed in flight. Call NAP today and the tech said that my call was the second today and multiple in as m...

Re: Broadheads for Matrix 380
I tried the spit Fire 125 gr much xb bh and the blades would open in flight. Went back and bought the xcal 150 bolt cutter. Will shoot on Friday his and post results. How do you turn the insert on a carbon arrow to line the bh insert?

Re: I Need A New Target...
I got a new Rinehart with my 380 and it will do the job, the tough part is when shooting at 20 yards I play heck trying to get the bolts out. The 380 will penetrate about 9-10" and once the bolt is pulled out, the hole closes back up.

Re: Inconsistent shots
Shot a few more times today after adding more brace height to 3/8", shooting good then went off. I had just checked all screws last night and yep loose after 5 shots. Took all out and locktight. Weighed my bolts without points and the Dioblos w/luminocks 361 gr and stock Dioblos 350 gr. Even wi...

Re: Inconsistent shots
Was shooting from a semi rest today from 20 yards, I guess I need to mark my fletching as they all have the same color. I hope tomorrow to shot from a solid shooting rest. Trigger pull seems to be very nice.

Inconsistent shots
Shot my new 380 today about 15 times and seem to be getting very inconsistent shot placement. Shooting 18" Dioblos with 125 gr field point adjusted my string to about 1 sting width off the REDS.
Any thought's????

Re: 380 Brace height
I'm strickly hunting, when shooting the above weights, I payed alot of detail to the penetration of each. And at first glance the 125 gr "may" give me good speed and penetration. Even with my compound I never liked shooting under 125 gr.

Re: 380 Brace height
Thanks, I'm going to try and find Dan's and get a Flemish string. Right now I got the following results in the crono with field point and 18" Dioblos:
100 Gr 370 fps
125 Gr 363 fps
150 Gr 355 fps
I'm going to try the 125 gr crossbow SpitFire machanical to start with.

380 Brace height
Just got in my new 380 and from the factory the string is touching the REDS. Called the factory and they said to set a 1/16 off the REDS which I did making it 1/2" from the brace. The instruction book calls for 1-1.5" off.
Any suggestions???
