Re: What is wrong?
If you did not use a rope cocking device, you string may have been loaded off center. -- But I am pretty sure it was due to a partial dry fire, (arrow was not seated against the string), or you were using a 'moon nock'?

Re: Age of deer
I agree with the others. 3.5 to 4.5---could tell better if the muzzle were more visible, and the space between the antlers were more visible.

Re: Killed a M&M @ 50 yds with Ibex SMF
Don't care much for the Matrix 380, so am going to sell it. Bought a Ibex SMF, really like it, -- Smooth, simple, and extremely accurate. --- I stuck a M&M on a paperclip, put in on target, and blew it away on second shot @ 50 yards. --- Last pic is of M&M dust. --- In all fairness, it was ...

Re: First Impressions of Matrix 380
Yeah the rope cocker is short on purpose, pull the string up to hook. The riser and rail both are aluminum not plastic. It is a beast bow to cock and aggressive on the shot but theres no free lunch for speed. The tactzone is a crap scope no doubt about it but the quiver is nice and like every other...

Re: First Impressions of Matrix 380
[quote="gendoc"]you said, "---Magic number on the Optimizer with factory string / setup was 26, indicating a solid 380 fps. ---" do you really think that formula is correct ? we have several real high speed wheeled cb's and none can be compared with any device except a quality ch...

First Impressions of Matrix 380
As a long time crossbow owner / hunter, I just wanted to leave my first impression of the Matrix 380. ---- First of all, it was much heavier than expected, I seriously doubt 5.9 lbs. Feels more like around 8 lbs. to me, (in stock form)---though I have not weighed it to see, so I could be wrong. ----...

Leave bow stringed? (or is it 'strung?')
Hi everyone, was wondering if I should unstring the Matrix when not in use, (like we did the recurves), or do you leave it stringed during the season, and unstring it off season? ---- Appreciate the help, --Thanks

New guy here!
Hi everyone, have been lurking for awhile, and decided to saddle up. ---- Purchased a Matrix 380 today, can't wait to get it out and give it a spin. Should be here by the end of the week. -----Have owned about 8 other crossbows, most were awful, a couple were decent, and only 1 was worth my keeping....
