I added a piece of pool noodle to my Grizzly and it feels great. Even found some Mossy Oak Gorilla cloth tape to cover up the rather striking blue colour.
Very cheap fix!
cheers

Re: Nikon rangefinder + source in Vancouver
Thanks, Gentlemen. Still a few months away. I will contact Reliable Gun closer to the Canadian adventure and see if they are planning to stock this model. They have the longer range 7i on their website.

Nikon rangefinder + source in Vancouver
Hi to the Canadian guys, This is a 2 part question. 1. I am interested in the new Nikon ProStaff 3i rangefinder. Anyone had any experience with them? 2. I am in Oz and getting anything sent here from U.S. is expensive. I will be visiting Vancouver later this year and thought I might purchase there a...

Thanks for the link to the 2010 article. I suspect many others enjoyed reading it as much as I did.

When did Excalibur start up?
A question for some of the members who have been around the longest....
When did Excalibur first start making crossbows? Who were the original owners and what were the first models?
Thanks for any information.

Re: New member looking for input
Hi and welcome. I shoot World Archery Field in Australia which covers targets from 10m to 60m all marked distances (kind of analogous to golf). Shooting lanes are through trees and over grass and undulations with different elevations. 24 targets and three arrows at each = 72 arrows. I shoot an Ibex ...

Re: Excalibur - international warranty
I had a very small claim from Oz. I had a trigger mounting screw on my Ibex break. Filled out a RMA and they had a new set of screws to me within about a week at no cost (inc. no postage). There would be a shipping cost for e.g. limbs back to Excal but I reckon they would look after you OK apart fro...

Re: String material?
I can't get 0.036 serving from any of the archery suppliers in Australia. I have been using 0.030 Halo. Do you foresee any problems?
I can get Brownell 0.036 off Ebay at a reasonable price. Is that any good?
thanks

Re: economy option arrows/broadheads
Hi Mick, A bit closer to home for broadheads - Outback Broadheads have a lot of support from the vertical bow hunters. http://outbackbroadheads.com.au/ I have bought my arrow components from Archery Mart in Adelaide (where I live!) and have found their prices good. They have Goldtip Laser II shafts ...

I have a metal rail one bought in Australia in 2013. I don't know what its actual year of manufacture is, however.

Thanks, people. Found it on Wyvern. Agree great people to deal with. They are currently shipping me a Grizzly. Should have thought about the cheekpiece when I ordered it

Re: Excal Cheekpiece
Only problem is the 10,000 mile gap between me and him! I need someone who sells them online. None of the stores listed by Excal seem to have them in their product list.
thanks anyway....

Excal Cheekpiece
Excal seem to have 2 different cheekpieces in their accessory range now. The traditional (comes in three different camo patterns) and a new one for "compact thumbhole stocks" (Grizzly & Cub) + Micro (in black). Has anyone tried the latter and does anyone know where it can be purchased?...

Re: Say Hello To My Little Friend
Very nice, Dan. I think that unit is marketed here in Oz as a HiLux. Most of ours are diesel though. (91 Ron is currently about AUD1.30 per litre!)

How do you reckon GT Laser II compare? I have always found these to be very good shafts.
