Painting an Exocet

At the beginning of the season, I bought an Exocet 175 and had ideas about painting the limbs and stock black. If I remember, right a couple of the more knowledgeable people here have painted their Vixens black, which is what started me thinking about painting mine in the first place. What kind of p...

Wyvern quiver mount question

Does anyone know if Wyvern Creations has stopped selling their top mount quiver base? I went to the web site and could not find one listed. They sell a package that has one in it along with scope and other accessories, but I don't need all that.

Re: scope fell apart

There is no need to loose hunting time waiting on a scope. Put your peep sights on set them at 25 yards, you'll be good to thirty holding dead on. Then when you get your scope back replace them with the scope. If any future problems come up about the scope again just change back to the peeps and the...

Re: $1.50 Fix

I always went to the auto store and bought the liquid rubber that you dipped tools in to give them a rubber handle. It works great and the smell of the chemicals in it go away very quickly so you don't have that chemical smell while your hunting. Worked very well for vibration dampening. But what yo...

Question about S 5 suppersion system

I have an older Exocet 175 with the 3 holes in the milled riser. Will the S 5 work on this crossbow?

Re: My Exocet is finaly here!

Thank you strum and wabi, I am not very computer oriented when it comes to stuff like this. pydpiper your correct as well. I have been fortunate enough to have owned an Exocet 165 and an Exocet 175 before and I loved both. The feel and contours of the older models just sort of fits better. While sho...

My Exocet is finaly here!

My Exocet that I had ordered finally came in yesterday. The gentleman that advertized it for sale listed it down as a 200-pound model, but after looking at the pictures and seeing the camo pattern and the fact that it had three holes in the riser instead of one, I suspected it to be an older 175 mod...

Just saying hello

It's been a while since I have been here. I use to post under theoldarcher a couple of years ago. Been out of the crossbow hunting for the past couple of years due to having to sell my Phoenix because of hard times. I have had the opportunity to pickup a couple of different other models over that ti...
