The speed ring on my DXL won't stay where I place it. For example if I set it on 350 after a few shots it will move to say 345. I tried to tighten the screw but it just come lose. This is preventing me from sighting in.
Thanks
Dave

Re: Matrix 380 Mechanical Broadheads
NAP kill zones are incredible, shot 4 deer with em, killed all 4. Shot a nice 8pt on the second day of Ohio's season this year. Perfect quartering away shot hit him just a little to far back. No matter, he went 20 yards and dumped. If I knew how to up load picks I'd show you the wound, 2 inch gash t...

I have the matrix 380 and use factory string, think it's the 1992 stock number. I know some variables are involved but on average how many shots should I get out of a string?
Thanks

Re: Broadheads
Went to the bow shop, they didn't have the slick trick so i went with the x-cal bolt cutters.Figured they are from x-cal so I can't go wrong. Well they sure don't fly like a field tip. After about 40 shots, yep 40 shots I got them hitting ok at 30 yards. Been shooting crossbows for 30 years, do I pu...

Re: Broadheads
Using an 18 inch Easton Carbon Bloodline 10.5 GPI, total weight is 440gr including the 100gr broad head with a 3 inch BTV vain.

I have the new Martix 380, I love it. However I am having some trouble using spitfire broadheads. I bought a rinehart broadhead target just to make sure the spitfires were really hitting like my field tips.First shot was about 1 inch low at 20 yards. Adjusted up, next shot was 3 inches low and 2 rig...
