Re: Hunting With A Dot
I've used a bunch of dots, and now Ive come to like the c-more railways. Though strange at first, what really sets them apart is the very clear & precise (2moa) dot. I can make consistent hits with both eyes open, but the real deal is how they perform in rainy / foggy weather. Jury still out on ...

Re: Dissapator pads ??
I do know that my equinox with its d-bars & S5s is noticeably quieter and has far less felt vibration than my ibex. No, your axiom does not have d-bars/pads.

Re: Hunting With A Dot
I've used them a lot in the past on rifles & carbines. All different kinds. Had a Eotech 512 that died at a range one time, had batteries in the grip, but glad my target wasn't shooting back, or it wasn't a 12 point broadside ! To its credit, that 512 seen a lot of rounds down range. Even had a ...

Hunting With A Dot
Just wondering who or how many hunt / have hunted with some sort of single dot sight. The idea has several advantages, some disadvantages. I have used them in the past on rifles, but haven't sat in a climber 'til dark with one.

No experience with the bushnell, but got a burris fast fire 2. I wouldn't deer hunt with it on anything.

Around $8 from eagle archery, but that was the common excal mount for my equinox.

I have two C-More Railways with 2MOA dot modules. Seem to do well on rifles may try on a excal down the road...
Very clear view.

Re: Put a leupold shotgun scope on my 355 hate it.
I own two Nikon Bolt XRs, clear & compact. They zero & re-zero (if I change something) with a few clicks. Leupold Gold Rings are great scopes as well.
My rifles wear Nikon & Leupold also, own a Ruger 77 300 Win with a old Nikon 5.5-16.5

Re: Armchair comandos dislike excalibur
I remember the day my brother and I asked a sales rep at a local bow dealer what he recommends as far as crossbows. They had several brands. He could have sold us any one of them, other than parker. His statement was "you don't beat a excal"... Our dad's parker was at parker for the second...

Re: NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS !
I'm with you guys, own two excals, and they ain't go'n nowhere. I really never owned a Bowtech, only a Mathews back in my vertical days. What's done is done. If I had more disposable income, I'd go buy another excal for the hell of it 8) My latest addition is an old school equinox, and she'll throw ...
