Im a good bit south of where you are but a lot of public land here! Best regards and welcome. Hey buddy! How far south? I hunt the Killbuck Marsh area a lot. Over 5,000 WMA acres...everything you could want to hunt/trap is there (within reason). It's prime for waterfowl too if you're a bird gunner....

Well a non-resident annual license is $125.00 here in Ohio (of course nowhere else has deer like these amazing Ohio Whitetail bucks!) so the cost is definitely worth it!
