Re: arrow drop comaprison
Thanks guys. Actually, I have an Ibex and have the chance to buy a Middleton DTM330 (don't shoot me) Looks like the extra speed holds pretty well, so the wear and tear on (my) limbs is likely worthwhile. As I get older, I look for the easiest workable way of getting things done, but may have to cons...

arrow drop comaprison
Does anyone have a program, or done testing on the difference in trajectory out to 50 or so yards using the same arrow (weight) at different speeds? Interested in the difference between 300 fps and 330fps. Also, what is the velocity difference at the different ranges starting at these speeds? Basica...

Re: Black Eagle Executioners
Dan, I think you will be happy. I am far from a great shot, but have some .003 BEE's and some .001 and .003 Deer Crossing arrows. They are all factory fletched, so no guarantee on spine being indexed right. All shoot better than I can out to 50 or so yards. I went out and shot a few today, and at 45...

Re: New Ibex Shooter
As others have said, a bag target will work great for field points. I'm still looking for something reasonable to shoot broadheads into. I am shooting Deer Crossing arrows. They are reasonable by todays prices, seem well made and durable. From my shooting, the .003 straightness works great. Out to 4...

Re: Grouping issue
I posted a reply a day or so back, bu somehow it never got listed. A lot of guys shooting distance swear by spine indexing their shafts (and weight sorting components). Seems that if the shafts are indexed, they all "bend" basically the same so that it is easier to keep them together as di...

Re: Here's a report on the OMP TipTamers
Any idea how long these things are supposed to last? Hate to spend $12 for just a few shots.

Re: Yep, it's true!
Is there enough difference in the 355 and 330 to make it worthwhile to own both? Inquiring minds want to know (plus it might help me make a decision)?

Re: Deer Crossing arrows
Thanks for the views on their product. They are in the growing stage and have had some problems with the assembly operation. If they can get that ironed out, maybe they can make a place for themselves. I bought a half dozen .003's, and they are grouping right at 3" at 40 yards. Hope to give the...

Deer Crossing arrows
Has anybody used these? If so, I would appreciate your views on what you like and don't like about them. I am working with them to try to get a better selection of crossbow arrows, and would appreciate any input. If you aren't familiar with them, check out their web site. If you decide to try some o...

How do you carry when hunting?
For those who do not like quivers on their bow, how do you carry your arrows when hunting? What make and model quiver do you recommend?
Also, how/where do you carry your cocking rope?
thanks,
Joe
