NICE!! I had similar experience with a Rage few weeks ago with a 7 pt I shot.

Man that is cool. Never new we had any thing like that in the US. Are they native to your area?

Thanks guys!! He put a lot of time learning shot placement and practicing shooting the crossbow. To say the least I was more excited I believe than he was. I told he was lucky because I was 18 before I shot my first deer. Going again this afternoon he is hooked and wants another one for the freezer....

I have been practicing with my 7 year old son for the last two months with my Axiom so he could get his first deer this year. Well he got it done this morning on a big doe at 25 yards. I have been waiting for this day since the day he was born!!!!

Thinking about buying a new string for my Axiom. Any one want to give me there opinion on which one I should get? I got this bow used last year so I am assuming it is just a stock string. Thanks!!

Welcome and you are know going to be hooked. You did the right thing by getting an Excalibur!! Good luck.....

Well yesterday I took my 5 year old daughter to a new honey hole I got. It is a small 10 acre patch. It has a pear tree and two apple trees with muscadine vines to boot. Well at about 7 I see two doe's coming in towards the pear tree the first one walks right in front of the blind at about 10 yards....

LOL!! I did some thing similar few years ago. Had plans to hunt a weekend after deer season closed. My buddy reminded me before the weekend that deer season was over. Good thing he said something because I was going.

I got a used Axiom last year and will never go back to compound crossbows. I will how ever one day upgrade to the Matrix line. Any way I shoot Carbon Express "Devastators" with 100 grain 4 blade Muzzy and also I use Rage 100 grn 2 blade the weigh 349 grns total. They shoot the same out of ...

This never even crossed my mind. Always just put them down. But today while shooting with my 5 year old I decided to try up and to me it looks like up will be they way I do it from now on. I can see the hooks better and how good they are on the string.
