Shoot I just knock the dirt off and shoot at the next deer that walks out!!

That's about all I hunt out of now. I hunt with my kids and we have great luck out of them. Just put them out in advance and the deer will get use to them.

Any body try shooting small game blunt tips out of there crossbow for small game hunting like rabbits and squirrels?

Shot my first Rage at a 7pt Saturday afternoon. At 20 yards it expanded great on entry and exit hole was same size. Great blood trail also he did not go more than 50 yards after shot. I am shooting the Axiom.

We grind up smoked bacon and mix it with the deer meat to make hamburgers meatloaf and meat balls.

You guys up north are so lucky to be able to hunt moose. Down here in Georgia we don't see many moose around!! Good luck!! How do you guys process them?

Thanks for the info guys. I think I will stick with what is working. I have never had a deer fast enough to jump the string on my crossbows yet. And all shots have been pass through on every deer I have shot with crossbows.

I have a Axiom I am shooting a 20" Carbon Express with a 100 grn Muzzy 4 blade fixed broad head. Total weight of bolt with broad head is 348 grn. It is shooting great out to 40 yards. Are there any advantage to shooting a heavier bolt?
