Re: Guided Hunts
I live in Vaughan. I do the shot gun hunt but the spots I hunt haven't produced much action in the last couple years. Gets frustrating sitting or pushing all day and not even seeing a deer in a nearby field. I think hard winters, yotes and changing farming practices, not to mention the hundreds of a...

Guided Hunts
Does anybody know of anyone who provides guided deer hunts in southern Ontario? Want to try something different next fall. The only guided hunts I have seen are 20-22 hours north of my residence. Mostly Kenora or Dryden. I saw a guy by the last name Vance on The Canadian Tradition TV show but can't ...

We tried pushing small bushes where we have been successful in the past years with no results. A very frustrating hunt!!!! I had a chance to sit Friday nig...

Re: Anyone else seeing Woodcock?
My brother and his friend usually train their dogs in early April as the birds get back. In three days this past April they managed to lift 22, 12, and 14 in the Niagara region. I like to wait till the fall to see them and hopefully the 20 will sing and put some in the freezer!

From Woodbridge. I hunt woodcock, hares, deer, and the occasional turkey. I plan to buy a 380 this spring, but I have owned an Excalibur Exocet 200 and loved it!.

Any Jack Hunters out there???
I know that this is primarily a deer hunter forum, but I had to ask! Any jack rabbit hunters out there?? I was just wondering if anybody is facing the same frustration I am. I have been out hunting jacks in south central Ontario and have seen one jack in three outings with tracks mainly around farm ...

WOW! Nice Ontario monster. Congrats! How have you been doing with jack rabbit?? I saw a couple of your posts in regards to jacks. I am a big fan of jack hunting, but the jacks are sporadic in our area.
