i can´t go with the opinion that how much a string material stretches has no impact in serving wear because what i´v experienced is that the dacron material leads to more serving separation during the setteling process which is the most important factor for serving wear and string damage. here is what i do to extend the life of my servings on my exocet 200 with very good sucess: i twist the string after every 40 shots one or two times so that the serving is grabbed by the crossbows claw on an other side of the serving. do it without.
one end loop looks good,
the other not so.

if i could manage to make the second lood as the first
i would be satisfied with the string.
