Re: Loose screws / Changing POI

Kb, when you pull those OEM screws out, do me a favor and measure their exact length with a set of calipers. I see other forum threads here where people used screws that were 5/16" long. I believe they said the two in the back could be 3/8" but the two in the front had to be cut down to 5/...

Re: Loose screws / Changing POI

Kb, with all of the talk of those screws stripping, I feel your pain. If it were me, I think I'd get me the replacement screws ahead of time and replace them when you reset the mount. On the other hand, If the mount is on solid and screwed on properly, there's probably no reason to unbolt it again. ...

Re: I'd Like to Try My Hand at Re-Serving

http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=42385&hilit=serving+test I just got done reading the whole thread. Whew! It wasn't clear to me whether the .035" was better for re-serving than the 0.026". But, it doesn't sound like I could go wrong with either. I'll go ...

Re: I'd Like to Try My Hand at Re-Serving

Don:

Did you mean to say 0.026" on the Angel Majesty rather than 0.036"? I haven't seen any 0.036", but I'll keep looking for it if that what you recommend.

Thanks!

Re: New Instruction Manual

Thanks Peter. It's great to have a manual. I picked up some good information from it as compared to the old manual. I did notice a couple of small errors and omissions in the new manual. I'm sure that's what you're fixing. I would definitely like to have a finalized copy of the manual when it's read...

I'd Like to Try My Hand at Re-Serving

So looking around on the forum, I've gotten good input on what to do. I've seen Don K's videos and I plan to make the 2x4 jig. So, now I'm at the point of having to buy a serving tool and some serving material. I went to the Outerlimit Archery website, but from what I see they only have a $100 + mot...

Re: The change in vanes?

Ken: "All of the above" reasons are likely. With higher FOC and better QC on arrow straightness the shorter vanes work fine. That being said, if you had a bunch of 4" vanes laying around, they would also work just fine. The shorter vanes require less glue and are, I think, easier to f...

Re: Well I did it

hundl1, welcome to the forum! I use Lumenoks with my M380 and Black Eagle Archery's Executioner bolts/arrows. They work fine for me. They're a little heavier than the black nocks that came with the arrows, so I glued 1/2" #10/32 set screws (eBay) into the original nocks on my practice arrows so...

Re: Reds didn't last long anything better?

I bought Sheila in January of this year and have a little over 100 shots on her. I see a line where the string hit the pads, which are fairly supple. Removing the rubber pads from the metal part of the suppressor, I see that the end of the metal ball has been flattened. Are all M380 suppressors flat...

Re: Bowtech Stryker Strykezone 350

Duh, I was just working with Sheila and realized my modified cocking rope with the knot stops near the middle has a fatal flaw. I can't de-cock with it. Fortunately, a sharp knife easily remedied the situation. I'll remove the images so no-one tries to copy it. Sorry guys.
