Re: axiom scope
My Axiom scope was the exact same way on the up and down. I just guesstimated how far each click was on based on my sideways adjustment, in which the clicks worked. I sited it in with no problems and it seems to have stayed in adjustment.

Re: Wahoo 165 days n a Wakeup
My kids were on spring break last week, so I pulled my stands down, brought them to the house and bought my kids some spray paint and told them to paint away. They turned out real good. We had a few more snows this year and every time I would scout, I found a place where the deer were really coming ...

Show off your old excaliburs
I just bought my first Excalibur at the end of January. One of the big selling points was that they aren't a "throw away" crossbow like some of the other brands. Even when newer models come out, the old models don't become outdated every couple of years. How about a thread for some of you ...

Re: Speaking of good warranties..
Buck Knives! I had one that I broke the tip off of(my fault.) Sent it in for a reblade and all my information. Told them to call me or email me how much I would owe for a replacement blade and that it was my fault the blade broke. I got the knife back at no charge and a Buck discount card taking( I ...

Re: Did it again...
It has always amazed me how much damage a dryfire can cause when you consider how little an arrow and broadhead veins etc. weight. Glad you suffered no damage. I had a loose nock on a compound bow simulate a dryfire. Went to nock an arrow when I went hunting one time and noticed my nock was still on...

Re: How Many Times Can You Shoot An Excalibur?
I just bought an Excalibur Axiom about 3 weeks ago. The main reason why I went with an Excalibur is for the reasons you've read in this thread. People don't think twice about hunting with a vintage gun that has been passed down and I think a bow should be the same thing, heirloom quality. I've grown...

Re: Sling or carry to deer stand
I have never used a sling before on a crossbow or rifle, but I am considering one on my Excalibur. On previous crossbows(pse foxfire and Horton Yukon), I'm use to the non-solid stock. When it's cold, i'm used to putting an arm through the stock. I noticed last weekend when I took mine out, I'm kept ...

Re: Picked up a Replacement Matrix 380 Blackout (sought of!!
I've found that pocket knife collecting goes good with being married since they are small enough to hide so they don't seem to notice them. A buddy of mine had 3 antique John Deere tractors that his wife was making him get rid of. He sold them all 3 to me and if I would only take one, he would jack ...

Re: Crooked serving on my new Axiom
I'm from Arkansas, but the wife and kids like to go to Branson. We usually go to the Branson Bass Pro, haven't been to the big one at Springfield yet.

Re: Crooked serving on my new Axiom
Thanks guys. It is the original string that came with the axiom kit and bare bones with no string suppresors. Just a straight out of the box Axiom. Googled the brace height and it looks like 1 1/8 is the sweet spot on these? I have 1 1/2 from the junction of where my risor meets the rail. It sure do...

Crooked serving on my new Axiom
Went to shoot my Axiom and cocked it using my rope cocker and noticed my serving looked crooked on the left side. Went ahead and shot it and figured I must have cocked it wrong since I have never used a rope cocker before. Next time, I paid attention and made sure the hooks on the cocker were perfec...

Need a new Target
Well, I went to sight in my new Axiom last night. I have an old yellow Jacket Target, the real thick bag kind. Behind that target I have an old layered foam broadhead target that I only shoot with recurves and longbows due to the age of the target. Behind that, an old plywood backstop that is gettin...

Re: Newby
Thanks! Going to shoot and sight it in when I get home. I don't have much experience with scopes so I'm hoping it's pretty close out of the box as I have read on the reviews. One quick question. I went over and checked the tightness of all the bolts that were already fastened on the bow when I got i...
