I Was thinking about trying some shorter bolts (16.00-17.00) out of my Matrix 355. Has anybody tried this and what kind of results have you gotten?

The string on my C2 Crank is starting to fray where it attaches to the spool so I wish to replace it.

Any thoughts on what kind of string I need to use and where it can be purchased?

So I have posted this before but I continue to be frustrated with how much the string on my new Matrix 355 is stretching. I have had the bow for four months now and in that time have had to adjust the string length by adding twists five times. This seems like an excessive amount of stretching to me?...
