Re: CAREFUL

Yea that is not a view I'd like to have, staring at the business end of an arrow. Glad nothing bad happened.

Re: Matrix triggers ...

The stock trigger on my 330 wasn't terrible, but I put on a single-stage TT trigger on it making it a lot more pleasurable to shoot. Well worth the money IMO.

Not likely I'll be selling my M330 to get one.

Re: to loctite or not to loctite ?

I've had more trouble with screws coming loose on my crossbow than I ever did on a rifle lol. I use the purple Loctite, the blue seems a bit difficult to remove if needed.

Re: Matrix Bows

I researched the Matrix crossbows quite a bit before buying my 330, surprisingly the BH was about 1" out of the box. I foolishly untwisted the string to get it to 5/8" only to have to put twists back in it as it stretched lol.

Re: Correct brace hight for 330?

Thanks! Its not like its new.I got the 330 shortly after they came out.String keeps stretching.Getting better though.I'll twist it up one more time to about a 1/4" off bumpers.Hope the deer like that ok.I really see no difference in impact at least to 25yds.I don't and don't really need to sho...

Re: Matrix 330

I like to keep my string just a bit behind the mark on the rail, which makes the brace height at almost 3/4 inch. You want to be at least even with the line and not forward of it. You might want to consider some of Danny Miller's "Baby Bumpers". I have them on my 355. I already had a set ...

Re: Matrix 330...

I really like my 330, especially once I put a TT trigger on it. Like already mentioned, I think the limb tip failures were mostly due to short brace height.

Re: What Length Bolts for Matrix?

Big Woods - Most of the broadheads I've shot out of the 330 have grouped well, I'm sighted in with the 100 gr std SlickTricks at the moment. I've tried the 100 gr G5 Montec CS's, 125 gr GrizzTrick 2's, 100 gr SlickTricks, and getting ready to play with the 100 gr RamCats. So far, out to 30 yds they ...

Re: What Length Bolts for Matrix?

I started out using 20" out of my Matrix 330 but switched to 18" with no loss in accuracy. I prefer the broadhead does not stick out past the stirrup.
