Re: Draw wt. limit
Agreed, a max draw weight limit makes zero sense!

Re: Shot distance for deer hunting
I practice regularly at 50 yds but limit shots at deer to 30 yds with my Matrix 330. Like already mentioned, they can easily move enough at 50 yds to make a good shot into a poor one.

Re: HELP!?
Fixed my 330 this way also, it stripped the 1st time I took it apart.frisky wrote:I striped one of mine also. I cut a piece of 1/8 thick steel the width of the inside of the rail. I drilled and taped it to the size needed. Sliped it down the rail and got the screw to go in , fixed.

Re: Cocking 330
I've cocked mine by hand a couple times, it's not too bad except it pinches my fingers.

About the same here, I shoot FP's most of the year then switch to BH's about a month before season starts and resight in.

Re: Cutting a new slot in the Matrix scope mount
I've used the Weaver Dual Extended rings (#49061), it gives you about 1/2" more eye relief and would be easier than cutting another slot.

Re: Gettin' a 355. Couple questions.
I haven't had a dry-fire yet but bought and installed it on my Matrix 330, just seemed like a good idea.

Re: Matrix 330 speed testing
I've only chrono'd my 330 once, was getting 315-317 fps w/ a 400 gr arrow and stock string. I thought was a little high but maybe not.

Re: Hi all! New Matrix owner
Congrats,,,,what did you shoot before???How is that 330 to load??? JUSTANUFF.... I have a Bowtech SZ350 also but wanted to try the simplicity of a recurve, the 330 will probably be my favorite once I get the TriggerTech on it. The 330 is not bad at all to cock, it's got such a short power stroke yo...

Hi all! New Matrix owner
Not new to Xbows but this is my first recurve and I chose Excalibur! Very impressed with the Matrix 330, I can see a single stage TriggerTech in my very near future though lol. Also ordering the ADF for it, I've yet to dry-fire any xbows but I know the odds are it will happen eventually. Looks like ...
