Re: FOC Broadheads
I recently switched from Excalibur boltcutters to the F.O.C. this fall. I'm using a Matrix 405. I double lunged a doe about 1 1/2 weeks ago, which was a complete pass thru. She ran about 150 yards, stopped and walked another 30 yards into woods where she tipped over. Blood trail was good. I also arr...

Re: 405, 380, micro
I've had a M405 since spring of 2014. Had one of the limbs splinter badly after about 100 shots, which was around May of 2014. After getting new limbs, I did have one small splinter that I was able to sand out which happened this past fall. Other than that, no problems.

Re: anyone use boltcutter B A T Broadheads
I am using the boltcutter with BAT. This is my 1st year with the crossbow, but I have hunted many years with a compound. I know from the past years with the compound that having the blades aligned with the vanes was a plus, so when I got the Matrix 405, I automatically got the boltcutters with the B...

Re: M405 Accuracy
I am shooting the Matrix 405 with Diablos and 150 grain field points. I also shoot the 150 grain boltcutters. At 30 yards, I can pretty easily get 1/2" groups, but as others have said, you will destroy bolts if you shoot at the same target multiple times. Have fun with the new 405!

Re: brace height on matrix in Cabela's
I was at Cabelas on Thursday. They had (4) different Excaliburs hanging on the rack. A 405, a 380, and I didn't notice what the other (2) were. Three out of four of them had the string resting on suppressor pads.

Re: Matrix 405 First Blood
Thanks guys! SEW - Yes it was not only a pass-thru, but all but 3" of the bolt was buried into the ground! This was a 20 yard shot. Amazing power!

Matrix 405 First Blood
This is my 1st year with the crossbow. Bought the Matrix 405. Using the standard Diablo bolts with the 150 grain boltcutters. Practiced with field points and the broadheads and the accuracy was very good out to 50 yards. No plans to shoot at any deer beyond 40 yards though. I had been seeing does fo...

Re: Tombstone size
I bought a Tombstone for my Matrix 405. It is 40" long x 33" wide x 10" deep. I like it. It has a compartment for the quiver, and another compartment for accessories such as rope cocking aid, spare strings, spare stringer, etc.

Re: How do you turn off your Lumenock?
Thanks for the info. I bought the Diablos with Lumenoks, but I haven't tried them yet. I also bought one of Danny Millers pliers, which work very well, and its good to know they will help to turn off the Lumenoks.

Re: Got the news
Hats off to Excalibur, and Danny Miller. My 405 will be delivered on Tuesday. I am very impressed the way both companies handled the situation. I will admit I was concerned this would drag out for a long period, but after talking to Peter he assured me it would be resolved within weeks! Excalibur di...

I had the same experience. Left voicemail this a.m., and e-mail this afternoon with no replies.
