Matrix 380

First let me say thanks for posting the owners manual, that is very much appreciated, and being new to crossbows the more I can lessen the learning curve the better. However the manual has raised a minor question about my 380. The manual calls for a brace height of 1/4 to 1/2 inch and the string sho...

Re: Lets talk about camouflage patterns.

Cabelas sold a pattern called Vertigo a couple of years back, I have had deer look at me look away then look again and go on feeding when I was in an elevated stand. But I have had them pick me off from a hundred yards when hunting from the ground. However I do believe that preparation is everything...

Re: Same Buck????

What is the timeline on the pictures? If the pics are a year apart it could be the same deer. If the timeline is within the last two months then they are definitely different deer.

Re: OT - falling apart / old age

Lymes Disease x2. My friends wife had all the same symptoms and was pretty much on her death bed. My friend finally just started coming down on the Doctors until they did the test, In two weeks she was back on her feet and is pretty much back to full throttle just one year later.

New to me 380

Put my new to me toy together yesterday and took my first shot. 1 inch low at 20 yards and had to give up or ruin some arrows because that first shot went through my old block target. Ordered a new 18-1 (thanks for all the recommends). I'm looking forward to September rolling around. I think the &qu...

Re: Crossbow targets

OK, most votes for 18-1 so I just placed the order. A bit pricey but then it's only money. Thanks for the replies.

Matrix 380

My very first ever even holding a cross bow, but I am now the proud owner of a Matrix 380. Looking forward to sticking a big buck that seems to always disappear during gun season. Any tips on arrows and broadheads will be appreciated. :D
