Re: Sniffed out... Deer 1, Joe 0

I'm wondering since I have both pines and oaks where I hunt if i should get the real pine and acorn scents and use a little bit of both?

Opening Day Literally Blew!

To cliff note my opening day....it was wet outside the blind and dry in it, it was windy outside the blind and calm in it. The trees swayed and branches fell and the only critter I actually saw was a Squirrel that I'm still not sure whether it was running up the shooting lane towards my blind or tum...

Re: Hunting in the rain

For my non water repellent gear, I sprayed it with Heavy Duty Camp Dri long before the season started. It helps keep you somewhat dry but the water will eventually seep through. However, i also have a ground blind so unless I somehow get completely soaked before I get to it, I should be good to go o...

Re: Blind Hunting/Shooting Question

I shoot strictly through the holes since I use mechanicals. And if you have never hunted from a blind before practice shooting from it before hand to get used to it. Dont forget to factor in the arrow height to the bottom of the shooting window. Its not hard to accidentally shoot through the blind d...

Re: spot remover

You know...this got me thinking...... #1 I have no issue with taking one of those but that is beside the point... wabi is from Ohio where I used to live until 2010. Bow hunted there from 1995 until I left, and I do not recall seeing spotted fawns when the season opened in late Sept. Even in 2010 an...

Re: Dr Stirrup could use our help!

Got my package from Gaston on Friday (Thank you Gaston) and got everything on my Micro by Saturday. With the exception of the stirrup since he is redesigning it for the micro, the package included the dbkiller bumpers, dbkiller limb silencers and 4x4 rope cocker. After installation I was able to sho...

Re: Dr Stirrup could use our help!

I've already given the guys at my local shop the heads up that when the package comes in from Gaston I'm bringing it up and all of us can learn about the goodies inside together. I figure what better way to help a shop learn about a product then have them help with the instalation and testing of it ...
