Re: Matrix 355 speed question
Yea, I had the same question about my 355 a couple months ago. Out of the box with 350 gr bolt shoots at 345. Clocked thru my chronograph. Then verified speed by usings Bill's sight procedure by shooting at 50 yds and adjusting the speed dial which ended up at 345. It shot a 2 1/2" group at 50 ...

Re: scope questions
Thanks again,Went to the web page and watched Mr. Bill's procedure for sighting in. Numbered my arrows and picked out the most accurate ones. Sighted it at 20 yds. Moved target out to 50 yds. Shot a couple times then moved the speed dial to adjust my elevation. Shot 6 bolts in a 2" group.

Re: NEW GROUND BLIND
I have a model that has a mesh screen under the main flap, the mesh has a shotgun barrel hole. Great for turkey hunting. Easy to carry and set up. Liked it so much I bought same one for my twin brother.

Thanks guys, I will number my arrows 1-9 on the vane and shoot until I figure this thing out. Early doe season starts on Sept. 20-21.

scope questions
Hi friends, I am shooting a Matrix 355 and I can't seem to dial my scope in. Couple weeks ago I found the scope mount screws loose so I got the blue thread lock out. I let the bow set for a week. Now I just can't get it to shoot a tight group. I have a Hurricane target and only shoot at one dot. At ...

Re: Rinheart R100 Saginaw Michigan
A big welcome to the Saginaw Field & Stream Club. I am a member, it is a great shoot! We have over 1800 members, a new club house. It's one of the largest conservation clubs in Michigan.

Re: new 355 with questions
Yep, bought a spare string and a stringing aid. I have the brace height set at 7/8". Texting Terrry about a Y-mount for the quiver.

Re: new 355 with questions
I am not worried about speed, I had a crossbow a couple years ago that went 300 fps and killed 2 deer with it. Waiting for some clear weather to check out the scope after I had to lock tight the mounting screws.

Re: new 355 with questions
Thanks xcaliber I will try that, when it stops raining here. The speed doesn't bother me, it will kill anything I hunt that's for sure. My question to the speed has to do with watching excalibur ad about being true to its advertised speed. Just wanted to be sure my bow was ok. I will be hunting with...

Re: new 355 with questions
Thanks for the welcome, I am from Mid-Michigan. The speed question arose because I was using 100 grain tip on my diablo bolts. Maybe my chronograph is off. Have not had a chance to check the scope today, it's been raining on and off. I was shooting from a Caldwell lead sled just to take human error ...

new 355 with questions
Hi friends, got my 355 out of lay away finally. I am very happy with the bow but when I shot it thru a chronograph it registered only 343 with the diablo bolts that came with the bow. Brace height is set at 7/8". Anyone have some thoughts? Sighted it in at 20 and 30 yds but when I shot it again...

Gnawing at the bit
Can't wait, Thursday I get my Matrix 355 out of lay away. Last March I laid away a taurus 1911 for my birthday. I only owed $20 more to get it out of lay away when a light bulb came on. My disabled bother (fused vertebra in his back) wants a strykezone 380 which I have, called him up and gave him my...
