Re: HELP ME PICK A SCOPE!!

If money is tight, try a Redfield Revenge. I got one a few weeks ago for $90. It is bright and clear. It also has a speed ring and multiple cross hairs for shooting out to 60 yards.

Re: Think I want the 330

I have a 380 and it is a bit of work for me to cock. with the rope. Also, since I like to target shoot, repeated cocking tires my arms which makes holding the bow still for aiming more challenging. The solution is a crank. As long as you don't mind a bit of noise, the crank is great. It is relativel...

Re: hha optimizer

One more thumbs up for Wyvern. I ordered my TT trigger from them and had it in hand 2 days later.

Re: Blackout bumper questions

Well, they do say read the entire manual! Also, there is a phone number if questions remain. There are videos here as well. That said, I study what I'm getting into. I had a very good working knowledge of these long before getting one. If people that intend to kill animals, or launch projectiles wou...

Re: Blackout bumper questions

I agree with many of the thoughts here. At a minimum, Excal should include a stringing aid as part of the basic package. The whole advantage of the Excals over all the compounds is the ease of adjustment and maintenance that can be done at home without expensive tools. Based on this, why on earth w...

Impression of TT Hunter 2.5 in Matrix 380

I have had my Matrix for about 6 weeks. Prior to that I had a Barnett Hellcat (Dick's house version of the Penetrator) for about 8 months. I generally liked the Hellcat but for 2 things. First, the arrow did not sit perfectly flat on the rail when fully inserted. Instead, the tip of the arrow would ...

Re: trigger work / latch polish

I just installed a TT in my Matrix 380. It is a huge improvement. I'll say more in a separate thread. The total install time was under an hour from opening the shipping package to putting away the bow and few tools required. It is really simple and straight forward. Everything looks and feels fully ...

Re: Help, new M380 making scary noise

You all were right. I used the cocking rope and very slowly pulled to the point where the noise occurred and there was no noise. I then pulled just past the ADF latch and no noise. Then I pulled to fully cocked and no noise. I took a shot and all worked fine. Then I went back to the crank and watche...

Re: Help, new M380 making scary noise

I think the noise is coming from the cocking string inside the crank that piles up on top of itself & then slips off under lots of force when it reaches a certain point. Do you see the main string slip back a small distance at the moment when you hear the noise? Do you hear the ping when you co...

Help, new M380 making scary noise

Dear fellow Excalibur owners, I need help. I purchased a Matrix 380 about a month ago. I also purchased the C2 crank as I found that using the cocking rope quickly tired my arms and back which did not help my shooting accuracy. I probably shot the bow about 100 times in the first 2 weeks after I got...
