Re: Discussion Question #1 Brace Height
Those seem fine to me. I just don't understand the 1/8" BH difference causing a 2" group change at 25yds. Anybody else have a thought? I would agree with Keith, I can't see groups opening up that much caused by a 1/8 inch change in brace height. I did some string tests last year for a cou...

Re: Discussion Question #1 Brace Height
I can pretty well shoot 1 hole groups at 25 yards (off a rest) with my 355 with a 5/8" brace height. I tried 3/4" and groups opened up to 2". Wow. That seems a little out of the norm to me, especially off a bench at 25yds and for only a 1/8" change. Many times in the summer I ca...

Re: Quiver options, advice?
I use a Kwikee quiver and mount the base directly on the bow on top so the arrows lay perpendicular to the rail. I simply use industrial double stick foam on the bottom of the base and run one mounting screw through one of the holes already in the bow and tighten it. Never had one work loose with t...

Limb question
My dealer says the limbs on a 330 and a 355 are the same except for the camo pattern. Is this true? Thanks

A short 3 or 4 " piece of 2413 aluminum shaft work great to turn off a Lumenok

Ulmer Edge broadheads
I sighted in my 355 yesterday. My go to setup is 17" Bee's, 110 grain inserts, 100 grain points, Blazers, and Lumenoks for total weight of 410 grains. Also running a Leupold VX 2 1/4 scope. I was getting 1 jagged hole groups at 40 yards with field tips. I then screwed on a 100 grain Ulmer Edge ...

Re: Blazers hitting my rail
I'm curious, do your veins actually say Blazer? Sorry for the dumb question but are they the real dea or another brand shaped similarly? I'd say most here shoot blazers and it seems strange that they'd be contacting your rail. ??? Yes, they are the real blazers bought at Cabelas. I'll take the rail...

Re: Blazers hitting my rail
I'll try that, it looks like I have to trim just a hair off for clearence. Should I trim just the cock vane or all three?Deerstalker wrote:X2, what frisky said. I would trim off some of the fletch so that you have clearance.

Re: Blazers hitting my rail
Don't know how to do the picture thing yet. I bought the blazers today at Cabelas. It's strange to me because a lot of people use blazers and haven't had this problem. Like I said before though, they are just barely touching the bottom.
