Re: Elusive Sika Deer of Maryland
Thanks for the help guys. This guy weighed in at 52 lbs after being feild dressed. FYI, we have the smallest sub species of sika deer here in md. But that just makes them harder and more fun to hunt!!!

Elusive Sika Deer of Maryland
Been trying for years now to bag a marsh ghost. Fighting the phrags, wading through the thick marshes of marylands eastern shore. I live a few hours away so can only hunt 2-3 times a year. Left my house at 2:30am. Got to the boat ramp at the marsh at 5:10. Fought my way through the marsh in pitch bl...

Re: Triggertech matrix hunter
Received my new trigger tech hunter for my matrix today. Man Wyvern shipping is horrible. It took two whole days to get to maryland. Opened it up installed the red trigger after looking at the directions for a minute and proceeded to take apart my 380. Unfortunately I stripped one of the 4 loctited ...

Re: Trigger Tech...Single Stage or 2 Stage?
I just ordered mine. Basically the single stage trigger is less effected by bow draw poundage. It should be 2.5 lb on the matrix. Across all models the single srage should read between 2 lb and 2.5 lbs. I recommend you call triggertech. They will answer all you questions and concerns. I got the 2 st...

Re: Triggertech matrix hunter
Thanks to everybody who responded via post, pm, or emails. I decided to go with the TT matrix hunter and as recommended ordered a red trigger to go with it. All I have to say is I feel like a kid waiting for xmas morning. Tried calling DM but couldn't get through so ordered from wyvern creations ins...

Re: Triggertech matrix hunter
See now you got me wondering if I should get the single stage. The reason i wanted to get the double was because I've heard these target triggers can go off too easily. What do you guys think. Any premature releases experienced with the single stage?

Re: Triggertech matrix hunter
Your going to find your dollar well spent and I think no matter where you spend it the price will be the same on the TT units. POI will not change. Did you get the $20 red lever too? I makes a noticeable difference on the Matrix with needed extra length and better ergonomics. No I wasn't planning o...

Re: String and bumper distance
Twist string to tighten up. You want about a 1/4" gap between the bumper and string. It's about 2 string widths. This will prolong life of baby bumpers while still allowing a good amount of noise reduction.

Triggertech matrix hunter
Alright forum members. I'm finally doing it. I'm going all in for a 2 stage matrix hunter trigger. Their website lists price as $179.99. Man, expensive. Any idea if I can get a better price from danny, Wyvern, woody's, or anybody else? I'm in the U.S. if it matters. Thanks guys. Also for those who h...

Re: Tact-Zone or Multiplex ??
Never tried the multiplex but my twilight dlx is awsome in lowlight compared to my tactzone and shadow zone scope. Never tried the leopold but have heard good things. Best advice I can give you is to try out what you have in lowlight first and upgrade if you feel it's necessary. Last 10 minutes of l...
