IL has some other odd rules for crossbows. You can only use a crossbow for deer after the 2nd shotgun season. If you are 62 or over or have a doctor fill out a form stating you are not physically able to draw back a bow you may use a crossbow during the entire bow season.

I was looking at the Matrix 330 and W.M said IL has a 200 lb draw wt. limit. I understand a min. draw wt. but why does Il have a max draw wt.?
