Video-ShotKam on Matrix 380
Man it's so good to be back!!!! Boys are 5 and 7 now and I'm starting to dust off the old toys! I purchased a ShotKam last year for duck hunting and sporting clays... and absolutely love it!! I have been wanting to mount it on my Matrix 380, but ShotKam doesn't make a mount.. and I couldn't find any...

Stringing aid slipping
I went to adjust my string tonight and when I start to pull back on the stringing aid, the rope slips in the self cinch knot . I have never had this happen before…. Any idea why this is happening all the sudden? Would waxing that rope help?

Finding the spine on BE zombies
Is it possible to find the spine on the zombie slayers? I have a nice spine tester, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it is really hard to find it on these things.

Insert glue
Does anyone use epoxy to glue in the inserts? I used carbon express superglue on the last set of BE ZS I put together and I have 2 inserts in my rhinehart target....
I need to go put some more together... I have some gorilla superglue, thinking about giving that a try.

How do you keep your spare string?
For those that have a spare string... One that you have shot in to get most of the stretch out. How do you store it to keep it from untwisting so you can put it on and be pretty close to where you need it to be?

where to buy REDS replacement stoppers
My REDS rubber stoppers have separated at the seams. I keep the seems at about a 45 degree angle to the string..... Anyway, I can't seem to find where to buy replacements. I have seen all the archives about buying Danny Millers baby bumpers.... currently, what is the best solution for the rubber sto...

Hunting and Shot distance for Xbow vs Compound
I have bow hunting for a long time. Last year was my first year with a Crossbow(Matrix 380). I only got to hunt with it once, but got to kill a nice deer at about 25 yards. I have made some stupid shot attempts with my vertical bow.... which have brought me to a comfort level of keeping shots under ...

String Twist
Is there any limit to the amount of twists you can put in a string to keep it 1/8" of the REDS on a 380?
I need to buy a new backup string anyway... but I must have 40 twists in that thing since last year and it still keeps creeping......

Swhacker 125 Issues
I am shooting the Swhacker 125g heads on my BE Zombie Slayers. When the blades deploy, they come back and contact the shaft, leaving a chip around the collar..... Does anyone else have this issue? Thinking about going to either the NAP Killzone or Spitfire Maxx heads to get away from the stupid band...

Re: Swhacker & Matrix 355 on up
I killed a good buck yesterday using my new 380. I used 2 bands because I had issues with them opening only using 1 band. I have 2 packs of swacker 125g. They will be my last. I put together 1/2 dz BE Zombies and the swackers were grouping better than I could shoot at 50 yards ripping the center out...

Swhackers and Matrix 380
Finally got my Matrix 380 issues taken care of... Built me a set of BE Zombies, 18" with 92 grain brass inserts. I picked up a pack of the Swhacker 125 grain heads. The practice head drives tacks at 50 yards. I figured I should try out a real one.... and it hit 6" low and 6" left. I c...

Re: Replacing a Fletching
I am new to the forum, but have assembled lots of arrows and just made my first set of BE Zombies. I have never just done a single fletch... it is just too easy to replace them all. Xbow bolts have a more aggressive offset than typical compound bow arrows. I would think it would be difficult to do w...
