For you out there that has a hawke xb30 does it come with rings? If not what rings do you prefer? I can get a new one for $220 but it doesn't have the rings and figured even buying a set of rings would be a good deal for that price. Thanks

Does anyone else out there shoot plastic nocks out of there matrix 405? Maybe it was just a fluke, don't know. Just don't want to loose anther bolt.

That's not it. Only shot that one bolt through my chronograph each time by itself. And made sure it was all the way back before shooting. Now I don't know to pull plastic nock and replace with alum. or not.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered some zombie bolts for my new matrix 405 and came with plastic nocks. After shooting one bolt 7 or 8 shots it busted the nock and splintered the end of the carbon bolt. Thx

What is the best way to remove plastic nocks? Need to replace with alum nocks. Thx

I got my new matrix 405 in and noticed the string is creased in the bumpers pretty good. Where is the best place for the string? Slightly touching or not touching at all?

I'm wanting to get around 420 gr total bolt/point. To get this what would be the best way? Bolt length, inserts and point weight? Also was thinking on BE zombie's. Thx for any Input.

On the matrix 405 and the 380 are the trigger pull about the same? Also anything else diff. between the two besides speed? Thx

The bolts for the matrix 405 are 18 in long. On the black eagle zombie bolts they come in 20 or 22 in. Do I need to cut them down are will 20 in be ok? Thx

Looks like i will be getting some zombies then. Also any ideal what gr. they are minus the point and do they shoot better with a heavier or lighter points? Thx guys.

Thx for the reply. I know shot placement is the key, I have shot to many deer and hogs over the yrs. I cut/fletch all my arrows for my compound bow but all new to the crossbow.
