Re: Fletching Preferences??
I'm new to the hobby, but I purchased the Arizona E-Z Fletch Blot shortly after purchasing my crossbow and I'm able to re-fletch all of my crossbow arrows with no problem. I'm not sure about it being right helical, but I think it isn't offset, and I do know it can't be adjusted. But, when you talk a...

Re: O/T Any Pipe Smokers In The Group?
I smoked a pipe on a daily basis about 40 years ago. It ruined my teeth since I would hold the pipe in my mouth and the pressure on the teeth moved them. But it was about 35 years ago that I quit tobacco products altogether, and did it cold turkey.

Re: Trail Cam Stolen .. Only time I guess.
Somebody stealing something from me will plss me off more than anything else. In the Navy I had somebody steal my dirty underwear and that plssed me off. But with Field Cams, I sometimes wonder if somebody was photographed at night while poaching therefore took the Field Cam to get rid of the eviden...

Re: Fletching jig
I'm new to crossbow hunting and shot one of my fletchings off a couple of weeks ago. I ended up buying an EZ Fletch Bolt and changed all my 4" fletchings on my FireBolts to 2" Blazers. It went very well for my first time with no problems. I did find that #0000 Finest Steel Wool worked perf...

From what I read in this forum, you do need to run over it with a truck to break it in though!

Re: Axiom sight in question
I have a new Axiom and have been to the range for the last 4 weekends. I use a shooting stick for the same reason that I went to a crossbow and that is a shoulder problem. I'll hit the bulls eye at 20 yards using the cross hairs, at 30 yards using the next line below the cross hairs and at 40 yards ...

Re: Replacing a Fletching
Thank you for everybody for your responses. This forum is awesome. I have purchased an EZ Fletch Bolt, a Zip Strip, and 2" Blazer Vanes along with some glue. Thanks for offering your services VixChix. I'm just too far from you but appreciate the offer. Also, there were a lot of good advice on h...

Replacing a Fletching
As I have mentioned before, I'm a noob. This past weekend, I shot off a fletching on one of my Fire Bolt Arrows. I've gone through a LOT of posts on this forum concerning fletchings and got a lot of help, but wasn't able to glean out how to replace a single fletching on the Fire Bolt. Can I use any ...

Re: God Bless America,,,,,,,,,,
I no more than made the above statement 2 days ago and Dry Fired my crossbow today. That's a sound that doesn't sound pleasant. Luckily, I have the factory string for the Axiom SMF and S5's so I didn't do any damage. I checked the bow over thoroughly. I did cause my scope to shift about 2" lowe...

Re: Talk about luck
I got a shotgun at Cabela's for a sale price the day after the sale when they forgot to take the sale price tag off. When I asked him to show me that certain shotgun, he handed it to me and I asked him if this price was correct. He responded, "For you, it is". I said, I'll take it! It was ...

Re: twisting the string to shorten it
LOL. What we have here is a failure to communicate! Actually, this is the way I do it: Left handers  what do you do with them? I am left handed and I put the string on the left tip first and the right side next and when I twist its the right side CCW. Now I cock with my right foot but un-cock w...

I'm a noob to crossbow's. But I've decided that I won't dry fire my crossbow! LMAO
I just posted this statement so you all can remind me of it when I do complain that I dry fired my crossbow.

Re: Bolt or Arrow?
What difference does it make anyway? Here's a thread on another forum that went along the same line as this thread: http://www.crossbownation.com/forum/top ... -vs-bolts/
I'll shoot them in my crossbow, whatever they call them.
