Re: What are the differnces??
Yeah I heard that too; but I do not understand how a string can change the draw weight. Of course the arrow speed can differ by string build specs. I think it's riser angles like with the Matrix 310 and 330. Same frame length but different draw weight and speed.

Re: Axiom and Ibex
All they have to do is shorten the frame of the Grizzly to have a 150lb. bow and then give it new name.

Re: stirrup mod. idea
I thought they were solid but if they are hollow injecting silicone in them might be a good idea . Silicone does do wonders for some people of the feminine persuasion.

Re: New Matrix Grizzly
Yeah it says right here on the website that the Grizzly comes with a dead-zone scope. I am sure customer service will take care of it. Please be sure to let us all know how it shoots and get a stringer so you can keep your brace height set properly.

stirrup mod. idea
I know many of us do not like the thrum that the stirrup makes when the bow is shot. Now I am not a sound engineer but I was wondering if a series of holes (3-5 on each side) were drilled into the stirrup if the the harmonic vibrations in the metal would be interrupted and silence the thrum. Much li...

plastic stickers
I know this is a silly thing to bring up but there one thing about every crossbow I have owned I do not like; and that is the plastic brand and model stickers. I think they look cheap stuck to the side of the bow so I have removed them all except on my Y25 Relayer and Micro. What do you think is my ...

Re: Peep sight
So you have one on your bow? This might be just what I am looking for in a sight; small, simple, & tough.

Re: reflex sight
So at what price point do the sights get good? I want decent optics but I'm not rolling in dough. Is there anything out there under $200 worth a look?

Peep sight
In my quest to lighten my crossbows i would like to try a peepsight but i want one that mounts low to provide a better cheek weld for me. Does anyone know of a rifle peep that could be attached to the scope base or to the bow with the scope base removed without too much trouble?

reflex sight
I want to try a reflex sight on my Micro. I figure such a small bow should have a like size optic so I am looking for suggestions on brands or models to check out.

Matrix 310/330 & Grizzly/Cub
I was perusing the specs. on the Matrix 310 compared to the new Grizzly and I found something I thought odd. The power stroke is an inch longer on the Grizzly compared to the 310 but it is slower. Actually the Grizzly's power stroke is longer than the 330 but is 25 fps slower? How can this be? I kno...

Re: New to crossbows
Welcome to the Excalibur clan! Make sure to get a rope cocker; makes it easier and more accurate. Another must have is a stringer to adjust your bowstring. Enjoy and keep your fingers down and in one piece.
