Speed loss.

Just purchased a Matrix 380. Was wondering the calculation for loss in speed when shooting heavier arrows. ie: would you loose 1 f/s for every 3 grains of extra weight. Just curious.

Question

Is it possible to change the rail on a Matrix 380 to a rail from a Matrix 355. Just got a 380, great bow, no issues cocking it at this point in my life. But, I'm not getting any younger. Just wondering if it can be simply swapped out. Thanks. Just years down the road 240 lb pull is more attractive t...

Re: Gas Attack at Home Depot

I feel for ya. Had a similar experience many years ago. Went to Colorado skiing, and got to feeling bad due to the altitude. Any way IT was upon me in a bad way, on top of witch, I felt like I was going to pass out. I knew if I passed out, I would fill my drawers. The clerk in the supermarket told m...

I do not know how to upload photos to this sight. If some one can help me, I will.
Also, the Bow came from The Bow Shop, in Kitchener Waterloo, Ontario.

Doh!!!!!

I did a bad thing. Went and sold my Exomax. Dang I miss that bow. But an Excalibur prototype Matrix 380 found it's way to my home. The entire bow is all black, (not the carbon Fiber look), just mat black. I switched the scope out for the Twilite DLX. It is a hand cannon compared the the Exomax, and ...

Re: Which Excal model has taken the most deer?

Maby not the most, but my Exomax harvested two bucks in less than five minutes on opening day. Had to recock it in the tree stand.

Re: Another Thank You to Customer Service

Excalibur is the FIRST company (actually the only one in memory) in many years that stands behind their product 110%. If there is an issue, they fix it under warranty. In the case of user error, they still fix it, with an explanation of how to prevent the issue in the future. It seems to me that mos...

Re: Micro 335 and Turkeys

I hear ya. I was thinking of getting a turkey license, but the tags cost 1.5 times the cost of buying a dressed turkey from the market. The clerks at Zhers look real concerned as I walk through the meat section with my crossbow. lol.
Ministry of Natural Resources here in Ontario are greedy buggars.

New Excaliburs

I was able to shoot the new Micro 355 and the Bulldog 400. Great balance to both bows. Lots of power, (the Bulldog is overkill) but who wouldn't want that anyway, hehehehe. Both bows do require a good effort to cock. Don't stop part way, or you may have to start over. For hunting they will be great....

He is Back

This troll and his posts are getting really old. Wish there was a way to rid him for good. Being fairly new to crossbows, I do like the sharing of information for the more experienced people. However, the troll can leave anytime. Sooner than later would be best.

Re: Side by Side Comparisons-your thoughts?

I was waiting to see the new line up. My Exomax is more than enough for deer. However, I would like a smaller package (not that package), the one I hunt with. Been looking at the Micro and Matrix 355. Now I will look at the Micro 355 as well. If I do change, I likely will change for the Matrix 355 f...

Re: dissapator bars?

My Exomax came with S5 pads and the dissipator bars. I am now in a position to shoot many crossbows back to back. All I know is the S5 pads and the dissipator bars do reduce noise and vibration. Yes the deer will still hear the shot, but the bows are nicer to shoot due to less vibration. Also, the B...
