Re: Tips on sighting in Matrix 405 with Twilight DLX scope
Thanks Boo, that makes sense. First crossbow, used to shooting a rifle and a crossbow has a lot of different things to factor in. I really like shooting the Matrix 405. Once it's zero in It's in the bull every time.

Re: Tips on sighting in Matrix 405 with Twilight DLX scope
I did some shooting today, with the scope set a 6 power (410) on the speed ring I was hitting right on at 30 yards using the 30 yard chevron, when I dialed it down to 3 power (300) on speed dial I was hitting 4" high using the same 30 yard chevron at 30 yards. I did use the information that Boo...

Re: Tips on sighting in Matrix 405 with Twilight DLX scope
Thanks for the help, hopefully this weekend I can do some shooting and play around with the scope. Will it matter if I zero it in at 3 power or 6 power? Should hit the same spot either way I'm thinking.

Tips on sighting in Matrix 405 with Twilight DLX scope
If I zero the scope at 20 yards on the lowest speed rating (300 fps) will the zero change when I move it up to the highest speed rating of (410 fps)? It says it's a 3 to 6 power but you have to change that by the speed setting ring. Am i missing something?

twisting the string to shorten it
I'm new to the forum and new to crossbow shooting! When I twist the string to shorten it to get the right brace height can I leave one end on the limb and just twist the other end or do I have to twist both ends. I did see a post that said I need to twist in a counter clockwise direction.

Stringing Aid on Matrix Mega 405
I found it is very hard to pull the stringing aid up and get it to lock on the 405 and even harder to get it to release using my thumb to pull the trigger. Just wondering if I could use the rope cocking aid to pull up the stringing aid rope?
