Thanks for the replies. I don't have a level on the bow, but will get one from Danny. With regard to me selecting this bow to start - I'm an old stick bow Trad guy, and the recurve appealed to me to be able to adjust the brace height and change strings without going to a Shop. Check the video of the stringing aid use, and pay special attention to the loop and where it is in relation to the scope. Shorten it to match the video - it worked for me. Same with the cocking aid.

I got my Matrix 380 a week ago, and the string was on the bumpers. I shortened the string to 1/4" off the bumpers, and three days later it was back on the bumpers. Initially I had to add about 12 twists to the string to get it to the 1/4", and I wondered why the strings were so long. Glad ...

I have successfully used a metal detector to find my buried arrows. The carbon are really tough, because you must find the tips. The aluminum arrows I find perhaps 95% of the time.
