what for aluminum do you think as in 22?? time to go dig the aluminum arrows out and get the cutter . I went all wood for my trad bows 55/75 carbons for the compound. so I think ill try some aluminum for the crossbow

new guy here 1st off thanks for any and all info I see 20 inch arrows . i just got a old exomag with 20 inch fire bolts and 19 inch 2219s. are the 19s for target tips inside the riser and 20s for hunting with the broadheads outside the riser . does it matter as long as the arrows weighs enough at 40...

no no no I put a loose string in the groove to cock the hook over it then I put tension on it with no bolt in the crossbow then pulled the trigger it fired the loose string I hope I never dry fire it but I read it happens to the best and the new :lol: :lol: :lol: but thanks for the welcome to the dr...

I don't think I have a dry fire thing the safety has a flip up fire down safe. I cocked it last night with a string and no bolt in channel. I put safety up and pulled the trigger it left the hook go. so no dry fire I guess. thanks for the forum welcome. im brand new to crossbows so im sure lots of ?...
