Re: Which Excal Model starts yer Season ?

First blood goes to my micro 335 with ramcats...
second blood goes to my Scorpyd Velocity with 114 lb limbs (363fps/402 bolt)
from then on probably Micro for tree stand and scorpyd for the blind.

Re: Mickey mayhem's first bear

First: a BIG CONGRATS: successful hunt with a son (or daughter), doesn't get better than that.

Few questions please
how many yards was the shot?
did the arrow pass through?
How much of a blood trail with the Montec?
what do you do with the meat?
thanks.

Re: ....just got my first pistol permit in Joisey (help!)

if you cant carry but want home protection and a tack driving pistol then Springfield Armory 45 caliber 1911 is the best I have shot, for lightweight FN Five-Seven is hard to beat but rounds very expensive. I hate New Jersey because of their ridiculous no carry laws...alot of good it has done....jus...

Great shooting.
I will be using Ramcats with my Micro this season.
Very impressed with your 50 yd shot and penetration.

if the bow went back to shooting on point that must be the only logical explaination I would think

That's why I asked how much he twisted it....too much and I am told you will break the seal.

Re: Ram cat broad heads

Ramcats are the ONLY fixed blade BH that Jim recommends for Scorpyds on his site. he states that at the really high speeds the rest of the pack compete with the vanes and don't fly true. I don't even bother practicing with my ramcats anymore....
