Interesting. The manual which I will add isnt mine I found it online is from January 2008. It states basically there is an absolute warranty for five years but still continues for lifetime of the owner.
I wonder why advertise five years when the company is more than happy to warrent for a lifetime.

Re: Did Bowtech take away the lifetime warranty
I read this is the manual I found online.
with further reading I found this http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1366684
Hopefully Bill can come and clear it up.
Either way I wouldn't mind even a 5 year warranty is a long time

Did Bowtech take away the lifetime warranty
I had always thought Excalibur had a "lifetime warranty".
Did Bowtech make it a 5 year warranty.
Dont get me wrong im not bashing either company but just wondering. 5 years is still a long time and I doubt I will have to use it for a long long time.

Re: Axiom with a straight riser
Maybe I have awnsered my own question is the straight riser longer to compensate for the lesser preload of limbs, so the brace height doesnt have to be extremely high.

Re: Axiom with a straight riser
No i have the stardard riser.
Maybe I didnt word my question well.
In short if I go to a straight riser wouldn't I have to highten the brace height as opposed to the standard riser?

Axiom with a straight riser
I have an Axiom. I dont quite need all the power it has. I shoot a lot and want a crossbow to last hence I chose excalibur. Obviously this means the limbs bend less which is a good thing but what would the brace hight need to be, I currently like it at 1.5 inches but it has to be more than that woul...

Re: excalibur arrow nocks
The arrows from Excalibur are made by Easton, so I'm guessing that you can get it from an Easton dealer. If you are in the US try Wyvern Creations. http://www.wyverncreations.com/ If my arrows are buried to the fletchings and past into any foam target, all I need is an inch of the shaft to pull the...

Re: excalibur arrow nocks
I make sure the nocks on my diablos arent scuffed.
Seing as I do target archery, 90% of the time depending on the target the arrows penatrate almost to the fletch. This is what has stopped me using an arrow puller. Therefore using different arrows.

I agree a sub category for the exo series would be helpful.

Re: string slipped off!!!!
yes I thought someone might mention low brace height, its 1.25 inches from the rail, what i always have it set at. And I checked the loop size against the factory string, the exact same size. when cocked i cant fit my index finger through the loop. I tried it again before and the first shot it flex ...

Re: string slipped off!!!!
I had a string where the loops were too big and it slid down the limb toward the riser. But your saying the whole string just flew right off? Maybe it's because your axiom is shooting 384fps! :D Yes thats right, i think it popped off at the end of the stroke because there wasn't much energy in the ...
