Re: Scope fell apart...
I just wanted to update this thread. I was able to finish my bow season with a red dot, but I did not see another buck. I am also very happy with Excalibur and their warranty. I cannot recall a smoother experience when making a warranty claim. Bushnell is a close second. I am also proud they are a C...

Re: Scope fell apart...
Thanks Guys.
Excalibur is taking care of me!
Turns out my buddy cannot get out during the week, so I am going to use his EX CB. The hunt is back on!

Re: Scope fell apart...
I think it's the repeated shock and vibration that makes the rear lens unscrew. I noticed it on my TZ scope, with repeated shooting the flip up cover will keep rotating CCW and every few shots I have to rotate it back to vertical. I had to screw mine out a lot to accommodate my eyes so it was alrea...

Re: Scope fell apart...
The scopes are the weakest part of these crossbows, and Excalibur has them covered. For the cost of an upgrade scope, it is worth the peace of mind. There is nothing worse than going out on a hunt only to not be able to hunt due to equipment failure. I wonder if Excalibur will allow me to pay the d...

Re: Scope fell apart...
Thanks for the alternatives. Unless I can borrow a buddies bow, my season is done and won't pick up again until October. I just don't want to buy another optic at this time. I am hoping warranty will cover it, but I am sure I have to pay for shipping and it won't be in time.

Scope fell apart...
I am typing this from my truck. Spent twenty minutes hikeing into my blind, sit down, setup, bring up bow to look through scope and discover the rear lense is missing. WTF!!! I was hunting yesterday and everything was fine. Cursing everything and everyone (excellent evening to hunt!), I pack up and ...

Re: POI change with Quiver on or Off
Thanks guys! I was just curious, as I know barrel harmonics can change POI on a rifle. I took my first Buck this year with a 1944 MN M44. I used a scout scope, but I had to sight in with the fixed bayonet in the closed position. Most Russian rifles are sighted in with the bayo in the fixed position,...

POI change with Quiver on or Off
Hey Guys.
I sighted in my Axiom with the quiver on the bow. I was curious if the POI changes if the quiver is on versus off? Just curious.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone else stalking in the snow?
We still have snow on the ground in the Ottawa area, and I sat in a blind for 2 hours after work. Lots of sign on in the snow, but nothing appeared.

Newbie Hunter and Axiom Owner in Eastern Ontario
I figured I should introduce myself. I just picked up my Axiom SMF on Monday, and just came back from sighting it in at the range this afternoon. My plan is to get back into the Deer hunt this weekend. While I have been shooting pistols and rifles for years, I only got my Hunting License at the begi...
