Re: M405
Unfortunately I am in process of getting new limbs on my M405 for the 2nd time in just over a year. Both times, the limb fracture has been on top of right limb about 2 inches from brace. Less than 20 shots before fracture both times using a 457 grain bolt with careful attention to proper brace heigh...

Re: Diablo Bare shafts
The closest bare shafts I have found comparable to the Diablo are the Easton Crossbow Bloodlines. Both are made by Easton. The Bloodlines bare shafts are about $40 per dozen and are C2 shafts specced at 10.5 GPI. If you decide to use Bloodlines be aware that the inner diameter of these are slightly ...

Re: Matrix Mega 405 limbs
Well after just one season found that my 405 right limb has splintered about 3-4 cm away from the brace clamp on bottom side of limb so will be sending in to exchange. Use a 460 grain arrow so thought that might be protective for limbs. Have shot the Matrix 380 for two seasons and shot hundreds of m...

Re: FOC Broadhead
nchunterkc- Thanks much I have always used a heavier arrow with the Axiom. Since I always use the 39 grain NuFletch Ignitor in rear I use a front insert of variable weight depending on which broadhead I am using. For example, if I use a 125 grain head I use an 80 brass insert, 100 grain head I use a...

Re: FOC Broadhead
Love the FOC. Used for last 4 deer taken with longest track of 75 yards, shortest 15 yards. 3 with my 380 and one with my 405 shooting an 18" arrow with overall weight of 450 grains. The entrance and exit wounds and subsequent blood trails are nothing short of devastating. Have decided to set u...

Re: Hunting apps for smartphones
A reply to an old but awesome thread. My favorite smartphone hunting app is called the Primos Wind app. This app allows you to set a GPS location at each of your stands and while at work, or anywhere, I can look at wind direction at each of my stands to make a decision about which stand to sit that ...

Re: AWESOME LOOKING NEW PRODUCT
Love my ATN Shot Trak HD Action Gun Camera. Installed it on my Matrix 380 Blackout and have the docking panel set up so I can transfer to my Axiom when I decide to use that bow. I feel bad for the Axiom staying behind most of the time as it has been a fantastic crossbow for me. The Shot Trak cam vid...
