Re: OT: Open Carry
Kentucky is an open carry state. I live in a rural area and see many people open carry and no one in my part of the state seems bothered by those who carry openly. I prefer to carry my weapon hidden from view but the are times when I will carry in plain view for all to see. Such was the case a few y...

Re: Butt-Out tool and gut hook
I had a the plastic guthook that used the replaceable box cutter blade, I really did like that thing especially for unzipping deer in the dark but my son decided he liked it too and relieved me of it. Tried the butt out thing once, worked okay but I can use the "core the apple" method just...

Re: easton 2216 vs 2219
I've decided to go back to aluminum after my carbons are gone. The carbons I have are okay but the spine and weights are not uniform from batch-to-batch. As such I've had to separate them into 3 different groups. Unless Easton has changed, Ive found that for the most part they are uniform in weight ...

A poor choice of words were used, I'm sure no offense was intended. We're are all guilty of using hurtful words taken out of context. Apologies and regrets have been made. Everyone should now take the high road and move past this and let this thread slip into to archives.

Re: Idiots with a crossbow
They had one of the pinheads on the news tonight standing before the judge. He released him ROR. He looked as though his family tree had very few branches.

Idiots with a crossbow
According to our local new a couple of idiots with crossbows drove around in a subdivision in east Louisville after dark shooting deer from thier pickup. Re: Low poundage bow's & mechanical broadheads
Ive had spitfires for several years but this is the first year I actually used them. Took a quartering-to shot at my buck and was ting to hold tight to his shoulder but my arrow actually hit him in the shoulder and blew clean through. The buck crashed 30 yards away and I never did find my arrow. My ...

Re: Single Stage TT Trigger has some creep.
Hmmm, that's strange, mine is the proverbial "glass rod breaking". I hope you get your situation with TT sorted out. I think they make a great product. Seemed strange to me too but surely TT will get my issue solved. So far the only response I have from them was in the form of a question,...

Single Stage TT Trigger has some creep.
Was out back checking the zero on my 330 today from a rest and noticed some inconsistant rough creep with an unpredictable break on my Trigger Tech Single Stage Trigger. Has any one else had this problem? Any suggestions?

Re: I've been gutting deer the wrong way for years
I've had deer field dressed and ready to drag faster than it took this guy to get the deer opened up with that thing using my old shrade gut hook skinner. This has to be a joke.

Re: Near Miss...
I have the same recurring problem with my right eye. Took too many shots to the head when I worked in corrections. That cloud has only caused me pass on a shot on one deer so far. Hopefully yours will not cause you any more problems.

Whats really fun is be looking real close at the underside of one of those big garden spider's whose web I just walked face first through, walking across the lens of my specticals.

Re: New 330 In The Cave,,, Gotta Keep It!!!
Congratulations on the new addition. I only have one crossbow and the 330 is it and like you, I also stuffed every hollow area in the bow with the high density foam just to suit me. I have spare limbs, Strings, scope with rings and trigger for it and dont really see a "need" for ano...
