Re: Accuracy issues?
I have two dozen gold tip lazer II pro series. As I was building them I noticed the weight was different by as much as an 8 gr variance between some of the shafts. All the nock and inserts were pretty uniform in weight. Another thing that I found was when I was spine indexing I found that the was qu...

Question about Micro
I find myself seriously considering adding a Micro to my hunting arsenal. I was a little concerned at first with the occasional limb problems so I bought the Matrix 330. Now that I have the 330 I feel better setting my sights on the Micro as I know that should a limb give way that the warranty is so...

Re: Cut on contact?
If I understand the question correctly, yes many cut-on-contact broadheads are available in the 150 gr. range. Check out 3Rivers Archery's Website. Many longbow and recurve shooters use the heavy cut-on-contact broadheads.

Re: when the back up bow becomes your favorite
My 330 is my favorite crossbow but it is my only crossbow. I hope to remedy the "only" part before next spring. I want a 310 and if the IRS gives enough of my money back come tax time, I will have one

Re: sawyers permetherin
Bubba, them ticks are bad news. My Stepdad got the spotted fever from the vermin that he picked up while scouting for a stand site. He suffered with it for several years then leukemia got him. Chiggers are bad on me as I am diabetic and those bites on my feet and ankles are hard to heal. Far as I'm ...

May have to try some of those 4 blade muzzys. It's worth a shot.8ptbuk wrote:I shot the 1 3/16" 3 - blade Muzzys for years in my vertical bow and loved them , But never could get them to match my field points or consistently group good in my Exvals. BUT the 1" cut 4 - blade heads are spot on . JMO

Re: sawyers permetherin
This thread and you guy's have me thinking, This permethrin treatment might be a good thing for me this season, even though last Archery season we had no issues with ticks, in where we hunted in MS. But the mosquitoes were terrible,But were taken care of 100% by our thermacell unit's.With that said...

Re: Picked up my first ever Muzzy's
I've used just plain Muzzy 100 gr. With my Mathews Denalin LD, and could always shoot to the same POI as long as bow arrow and myself were tuned. Can't shoot my vertical bow anymore due to shoulder injuries. Shooting the 100 gr. Muzzys with my 330 all hit consistently 3" low of my field point P...

Get Blazers, EZ fletch Bolt, Loctite Super glue Ultra Gel, fletch-em-up and shoot. Blazers can be had almost anywhere.

Re: NAP Spitfire Practice Head???
I've never tried the practice heads. I sacrifice 1, glue the blades closed with loctite super glue gel and use it for practice. When I send one through an animal I clean it up, glue it and use it in my collection of practice heads. Mine fly to the same POI as my field points with my setup.

Good huntin to ya. I used to put pine boughs and oak leaves in my bagged cloths. Then got carried away and tossed a apple in there...to be spotted the following year lookin kinda funky.. Earth scent dryer sheets(half a sheet) get used now and then an airing when the wind is right outside before bag...
