Thanks Boo et al.

I had them sorted to I think .005 deflection.

Maybe a little over board for hunting applications, however, just right for a piece of mind. :D

Re: Going to be a VERY long spring...

Why are you having to wait until summer? are you saying none are available for sale? $$ build up. I just spunt $1391 getting a Yukon XL tires, brakes, front end aligned, amongst other things..... Prioritizing ain't all that bad....most times. Plus, deer season start til October anyways.

Why does the stiff "side" of a bolt prefer up??

Just got my shafts from Jerry at South Shore. They have a dot to index the stiff "side" that goes in between the hen vanes, and subsequently up when loading. On a compound bow, I had a spine tester, and we used it so we could put the stiff "side" down, to contact the rest. Just w...

Re: Kong & my Ramblin's

I'm putting FOC's and/or Slick Trick 175 Xbows in front of a 110 grain brass insert that has 50 more grains behind it.

The Front of Center should be around 26% :D

Re: Anyone changing part of their Hunting Set-up

Ditching compounds and getting a crossbow so my step-sons can hunt with it.

Plus, they will be able to lay the smack down better with an Excalibur, than with a low draw weight short draw length compound bow of their own. :D
