Re: Got my 22' stand already to go for the Sept. 12 opener!
Those are some great lookin tracks. Since I moved from Northern NY to the mtns of NC I thought it strange to see buck track that looked more like wild boar track than what I'm used to. We're still waiting to see if NC will let us hunt Sundays either all day or just after noon with firearms but at le...

Re: Quivers for slick trick grizz trick 2's
Thanks for the information Keith. When I had the exomax I was only using boltcutters and the other 380 I had I was using the rage x-bow x 100 grain heads. Just doing some more practice shots today since the rest of the week looks rainy till opening day. Good luck this spring.....

Quivers for slick trick grizz trick 2's
Finally got the 380 sighted in with the grizz trick 2's and noticed that when putting them in the stock quiver it's a very tight fit. Just wanted to know if anyone is using a different type of quiver with a bit more room for the 1 1/4 " size broadheads. This is the first time trying these heads...

Re: American Whitetail Cube Hybrid and Broadhead Insert
Just finished with the slick tricks at 30 yards and definately happy with the results. A bit low compared to the field tips but 1/8" cant be too picky. A little tweak on the speed dial and she's ready for turkeys and deer. As for the broadhead insert it definitely does the job but be prepared t...

Re: American Whitetail Cube Hybrid and Broadhead Insert
So far the cube hybrid is holding up well at the 20 yard sight in and just finishing up the 30 yard test. Been able to use just hands with a slight tug to get the bolts free but the real test will be the Slick Trick Grizz Trick 2's into the broadhead insert. If I can get the 30 yard sight in I may j...

Re: American Whitetail Cube Hybrid and Broadhead Insert
Just got a quick semi sight in at 10 yards inside my house due to serious rain in my area for right now. So far with 15 shots with field points total penetration was only about 11" and very easy to remove diablo bolts with 100 grain field tips. Hopefully I can get outside and get the 20 yard si...

American Whitetail Cube Hybrid and Broadhead Insert
Both target and broadhead insert finally arrived via Fedex after being stuck in Newton NC for two weeks due to " sketchy " weather. Definately going to get the 380 sighted in at last for spring turkey in NC. Slick Trick Grizz Tricks won't arrive till thursday so it looks like field points ...

Re: Does Anyone Use These On Their Stirrup?
I put on a set on my matrix 380 stirrup since the last one I owned made a tinny sound when hitting a couple branches. So far it seems to make a difference but I'll find out for sure when my target hopefully shows up today so I can get it sighted in. My older exomax was very quiet compared to the 380...

Re: Broadheads
Once we get rid of this latest batch of snow and I get my 380 sighted in I was planning on trying them out on turkeys in the spring. I've used boltcutters in the past and had great blood trails but I was going to try some slick trick vipertricks and the toxix in 100 grain just to get a bit more spee...

Re: New nightmare at the shop
Just wanted to post that it was arriving shortly here in the mtns of NC. That's how I replaced the exomax with a 380. I went to the shop to get some more firebolts and Mike handed me a 380. Bout a week later the Matrix 380 was mine and the exomax found a home with one of my coworkers at GE. Sold the...

New nightmare at the shop
Got a chance to hold a new Nightmare at Grashal Outdoors today in boone NC. Definately tiny and good thing I just got my 380 finally together. Now just waiting for my Cube Hybrid target to show up. Picked up some limbsaver material while I was there to quiet the stirrup down a bit. The local excal r...

Re: slick trick vipertricks
Great to hear from everyone what they're using. I wanted to go with the vipertricks for both turkeys and deer. I've used Rage in the past but I wanted a lighter fixed blade so I'll pick up a box of them and see how they shoot. Just waiting for my cube hybrid target and broadhead core to arrive. Doin...

slick trick vipertricks
Just wanted to find out if anyone on the forum is using this head and your results. I've used boltcutters on my exomax and upgraded to my 2nd matrix 380. Had the fever last year to purchase a 2014 Vrod so that 380 found a good home. After 1 season without it I had to get another. Planning on using t...
